Normally I wouldn't care about the Adel batch being skipped, but with the release of RC6, about 3 or 4 units within the batch are seeing use specifically because of RC6. Granted with the addition of global units it probably won't matter at all and Adel batch will most likely be out long before RC6.

Also the guardian batch might see some use due to CA being a thing if only for their LS. Alyut was really good for the Lucius trial. Lunaris has some use for future GGCs, but since Aurelia is a thing...

I got impatient too. 1st summon was Krantz (B). Felt like I should stop there, but I went for 5 to get the bonus. The rest were trash and the bonus was Reis.

BS is better for damage unless the person is going for UBB. I think max UBB in FG is 4, so the damage from the other 16 stages should compensate.

Ignoring the extra 25% attack on BS for simplicity, compare the increase of 150% crit damage to the increase of 50% spark damage.

Base crit damage is approximately 150%. Double Zedus leads add another 300%. Zedus UBB adds 50%. Assuming 70% crit rate 150% crit multiplies damage average by:
((1.5+3+0.5+1.5)*0.7+0.3)/((1.5+3+.5)*0.7+.3) = 1.276

Take the spark rate to be Y. Then with 150% base spark damage, 160% from LS, 100% from Heavenly, and 80% from SBB, 50% spark damage multiplies average damage by:
((1.5+1.6+1+0.8+0.5)*Y+(1-Y)/((1.5+1.6+1+0.8)*Y+(1-Y))

Setting this equal to the multiplier for crit rate results in a negative Y, meaning it is impossible to outdamage BS. With 100% spark rate this is only a 1.102 damage multiplier.

TLDR: Stick with BS cuz math.

Semira is a bit underwhelming, but Ciara got exactly what I was expecting, so she's GDLK. Probably the most viable attack buffer now.

Poor Quaid. Ciara is literally just a better version of him. Although Quaid might still have use in FH over Ciara due to less damage output.

Hopefully they get a bump up in stats during tonight's maintenance.

Not really looking forward to the new Legacy units. The past ones have just been so mediocre/don't work well in the current meta, just leaves a bad taste in my mouth for any future ones. :/

In other news, Challenge Arena sucks giant donkey testicles.

CA is godawful now. Gumi fixed the force close tricks, which leads to me believing Hadaron leads will be absolutely unstoppable.

From what I've read on Reddit, they fixed the "No BB usage" trick and supposedly fixed the ability to prevent the opponent from getting First Strike.

takes a lot of skill to get destroyed by hadaron leads/ mono element 100% leads because rng says you dont go first 8^)

So with Ciara as an attack buffer, my excitement for Paris 7* has died down. Vermilion and Gilgamesh are looking like much better options for me now. If I manage to get Avant and Chrome with the stuff from the bundle chest then I'll be saving up for those two.

Looking at the rest of Vermilion's batch, Piany could have been amazing if they swapped her BB and SBB buffs. Drevas and Fabrio seem pretty bad, but Kiraveru seems like a pretty solid spark sub.

Spheres for Paris EX and Fire and Dark FGs have been revealed.
