I wasn't aware so many people disliked Black Heaven. I mean I thought most enjoyed a good story specially if it makes use of loose elements forever existant in the game and builds something out of them.

Well the fact this involves the heroes kinda tells me this will be set in the time the Black Mage was sealed.

I don't think people DISLIKED it so much as people feel it just isn't lasting content. It's a one and done kind of thing. I enjoyed the story but once you finish it you're just kind of like "okay." And then never go there again.

I know he was on a giant board at the May Full event earlier this year at the description stand. Female Aran got the cardboard cut out.

I'm really excited for this. I love Black Heaven. Regardless if it's "one and done" I don't think it was meant to be a place to go and grind. It was a story. It's like FriendStory. I enjoyed FriendStory for what it is and was, will do it again on other characters. Black Heaven opened the way for Scrapyard as well. Which is an excellent place to train.

If they use female aran for this new blockbuster, we all may aswell consider female Aran as the canon gender. Thats the purpose of these blockbusters, bring some clarity and further develop the story in the game.

Better yet if Aran is in multiple scenes have them change gender randomly just to confuse people even more

Plottiwst... There is an Aran alpha and Aran beta, we just didnt know until now.

Now we know what Aran's revamp is all about.

Or they could just do what they did for the Explorer Warrior storyline and let you pick which one you talked to. Or just set it to be opposite gender of your character or something.

Yes to the first, no to the second, as I recall Fiel explicitly said kill the Black Mage, if it was set in the past, even if you did fight the black mage, you couldn't kill him, he ends up being sealed.

Considering the promotional silhouette is using Evan, I doubt it's in the past.

I can't wait to see how much more they can nerf phantom! Good thing I basically quit already, else I'd be upset at how much he's been nerfed for no reason.
I never did BH or anything story filled, was already done doing anything beyond dailies by the time it came out, so I have no interest on anything relating to it, much less a boss you need $3000+ to even attempt.

Only wanna see them 'rebalances'. lol
