Testing on eggs, pendants and stuff. And not involving Horntail.

Let's see... Some of you might have noticed that the UI for the chicken eggs and maple pendants are simply not working at all... But I've seen people say it works for them.

Here's my request: I want to try to know what's going on. Since it doesn't work for me either :p

SO, stuff I thought that could help. Please fill the following if you have the time:

-Egg UI working? Yes/No
-Used prepatcher? Yes/No
-Size on the "UI.wz" file into your maplestory folder? (13.419Kb in my case.)
-How did you patch?

OK, I'll start with it:

-How did you patch? I tried to patch from 0.63 to 0.64, but the patcher failed, so I downloaded the full client. Then, patched from 0.64 to 0.65.

-Egg UI working? I'm not sure exactly how it's supposed to work, but let's put it this way, I can open the UI for the egg just fine, and mine has hatched. So... yeah, it's working?
-Used prepatcher? No
-Size on the "UI.wz" file into your maplestory folder? (13.419Kb in my case.) Same
-How did you patch? Auto Patcher

Uhm... I'll go test something regarding the computer... Also, the UI working means that the window doesn't open at ALL

K, well mine certainly works, I literally just got it, and I just patched from v.64 to .65 through the auto patcher as I said, and my file size exactly the same as yours. I got it, and double clicked on egg, and the window popped right up under the mini-map for me.

How exactly does it not work? It doesn't open when you double click the egg in your etc? Just curious.

Yeah I was wondering about that too, whenever I talk to the maple admin she just asks If I want her to open boxes.

i guess the daisy laid or something said: visit maple admin from monday till friday to get ur growth powder, maybe it is why maple admin dont have that option

Available: There are things to be done in order to tend Lazy Daisy's egg successfully. Let's go see the GM.
In Progress: You must go find the GM every day from Monday through Friday, and receive the growth powder and apply it on the egg.
Completed: You receive the growth power for today. Hurry up and apply it on your chicken.
This Quest Starts Automatically (with that lightball animation over your head)

Uhm... I tried this on a different computer. Result? SAME. I patched correctly from 0.63 to 0.65...

This is weird. I'll try redownloading the full client. And yes, I'm aware I have to double click... it just... doesn't pop anything up.

No because i'm lvl 146 and i dont have this quest. beside, this is event uest. no limit

-Used prepatcher? Yes, but then tried re-installing MapleStory downloading the v65 full installer from the website, and I still have that problem.

-How did you patch? I firstly used the pre-patcher, then tried to re-install with the v65 full installed avaiable at the website, but it didn't work.

Hmmm so maybe just some eggs/ pendant are fake ;d


Anyway for me it's not working with autopatcher

Most people seem to have auto-patched so I guess it isn't a pre-patcher issue. I’m going to try it out on my laptop and see if it works there.

I'm in europe and it works fine for me and both my sisters.
