Why would the MLC be consulted on cash shop related implementations? They wouldn't even remotely consider their opinions on things like this.

I'm willing to bet Artasi won't even comment on this. At least not publicly.

The backlash is already showing up on nexon's forums and the patch isn't even done yet. Just keep on milking it for what she's got left is Nexon's stance at this point I guess.

I think what he meant was that the damage gap between spending some money and not spending money has become narrower, but then the perspective becomes a "steeper mountain", that you used to need to spend a fairly significant amount of money on cubes blindly rolling for 3 %STAT lines (for example). Today we have the option of Meister cubes and MCCs, which basically bridges the gap between spending money and not spending money, however the Violet cube basically gives people who spend money "2 legs up" by allowing them to choose their lines (not too different from Marvel Machine IMO). Additionally, because now there is physical money savings involved (not blindly rolling anymore, but rather being able to choose lines), it makes the damage-climb-per-dollar-spent slope much steeper. Therefore MMB feels (I think) that this only gives NX users an absurd advantage.

tl;dr the pay wall just went from a steep mountain slope to a sheer face of a cliff.
