Not sure if I'll participate.

How surprising, they haven't had time to make Double Miracle Time apply to in-game cubes.

Nope. They never showed up, and when people asked about it on the official forums, Artasi said something like, "Sorry, that was a mistake, they were intended for a Daily Deal later this month." (Which pretty much confirmed Miracle Time)

Probably better this way. If people had used up their Reward Point Bonus Cube allowance before Miracle Time, they'd have gotten quite upset.

Considering the low rank-up probability of crafted cubes, even those who craft/hunt them by the dozen still need more luck if they're to get anything good out of them.

Which is my point. People would just cube for drop gear and buy wolves and then just save up cubes for a week before miracle time and get all sorts of great results.

From a business standpoint, yes, it is bad for a slowly dying game to implement free, in-game methods as an alternative for their highest profit items.

Considering this method was one of the main reasons of why the game is slowly dying, then I don't think it's bad.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for cubes that drop from bosses dropping 50% of the time. I just think they won't apply craftsman+meister to miracle time ever.

Well we all knew that, miracle time is supposed to be a cash grab

It doesn't mean that it's the right decision though
