v.162 Spring into Summer
As we continue to work towards ensuring a more stable connection for players, we will be moving forward with the v.162 update. In addition to all of the new events highlighted in the patch notes, this update also includes measures that we believe will help bring us closer to stabilizing the connectivity issues. We will continue to monitor and address the on-going connectivity issues prior to and after the update has been completed and keep you apprised of any changes to the situation. <div class="hr"/>2x EXP Coupon Level Limit Removal
Buff Event Notifier
- The level restriction on purchasing 2x EXP coupons has been removed.
- All characters up to Lv. 249 can now purchase 2x EXP coupons.
<div class="hr"/>10th Anniversary Event Updates
- A notification will now appear for EXP and Drop rate increase events.
- Once the event begins, you will see a slide notice for 1 minute.
- There will also be an EXP and Drop rate icon in the quest notifier menu on the left side of the game window.
- The notification image will display for 30 seconds every 5 minutes until the time the event ends.
<div class="hr"/>10th Anniversary Coins
May 20 May 21Requirement: Lv. 30 and above
Rewards:
- Log in any time during the event period, and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive some extra 10th Anniversary Coins.
- Limit once per account.
- You'll need to log out and log back in to see the gift box icon if you're already logged in during that time, or if you level up to meet the level restriction.

May 6 - June 2410th Anniversary Armor Box
- The per-character purchase limit for regular and prime 9th Anniversary Scrolls has been raised to 5.
- The following special character-related equips have been added to Windy's shop at players' request: Pointy Ear Hat, Pointy Fox Whiskers, Pointy Tail Cape, Aurora Cape (white version).
May 20 - June 24<div class="hr"/>New Events
- The 10th Anniversary Armor Box has been added to the drops of most monsters, at players' request.
- It will have a low chance to drop from mobs within 10 levels below and 20 levels above your character.
Pink Zakum
May 20 - June 2Requirement: Lv. 30 and above
Rewards:
- The OS4 has created a pink Zakum clone for adventurers to fight to let off stress!
- You can enter the battle by accepting the quest, which will appear 3 times per day: 6:33 PM, 7:33 PM, and 8:33 PM Pacific.
- Click the walkie talkie notification above your character's head to speak to the OS4 and accept the quest and be sent to the waiting room.
- After a brief moment in the waiting room, players will be divided up into different battle instances.
- Up to 40 players can enter a Pink Zakum instance.
- Since you won't have much time to create a party, special HP, MP, and Speed buffs will be granted automatically to all players in the map.
- Even though it's a clone, Pink Zakum was constructed to be much weaker than regular Zakum.
- There is a 20 minute timer to beat Pink Zakum.
- You will be able to leave the instance by talking to Researcher H.
- If you die, you will respawn in a room with a portal and Researcher H. Use the portal to enter the fight again, or talk to Researcher H to be given the option to leave.
- The OS4 buffs will be removed if you leave the map while Pink Zakum is still alive.
- The OS4 buffs will remain in effect if you leave the map after defeating Pink Zakum.
- After the battle is complete you'll be sent to a debriefing room. Talk to Head Researcher Wynn to claim your prize or admit defeat.
- Once you leave the event maps, you will be moved to the closest town.
Cassandra's Spring Flower Festival
- Special Teleport Rock (1 time use, expires after 30 minutes)
- A gift box that will contain one of the following:
- Pink Zakum Arms cape cover coupon: 90-day and permanent versions are available
- Pink Zakum Chair (tradeable)
- Pink Zakum Helmet: REQ LEV: 30, STR/DEX/INT/LUK + 3, Weapon/Magic DEF +50, ACC/AVOID +20, 10 upgrade slots with no hammers applied, untradeable
- 10th Anniversary Coin (5)
- Restorative potions
- Trait EXP item
May 20 - June 2Requirement: Lv. 10 and above
Rewards:
- Help Cassandra collect spring items every day by hunting monsters.
- Cassandra will reward you with one of the following: Azalea, Forsythia, or Clover.
- Select NPCs of Maple World will trade 3 of each flower for a sticker.
- Note: There is a known issue with this event where the quest "The Rememberer's Spring Flower Research 2" from the Lv. 50-89 range cannot be completed.
3!3!3! Events
- Azalea Sticker: Expires in 1 day, Untradeable, Face Accessory, All Classes, STR +2, DEX +2
- Forsythia Sticker: Expires in 1 day, Untradeable, Face Accessory, All Classes, DEX +2, LUK +2
- Clover Sticker: Expires in 1 day, Untradeable, Face Accessory, All Classes, LUK +2, INT +2
Requirement: Lv. 10 and above
[Lucky 3!3!3!] Census Week One Check
- 3!3!3! Events are three fun activities that are based around the number 3!
- To start one of the 3 events, you must click on the Event Notifier on the left side of your screen.
May 20 - May 26Rewards:
- Help the Maple Administrator take a census of Maple World!
- The event is split into two parts and each part is based on a week. Week One is May 20 May 26.
- Players who accept the same quest 3 times in a week will receive a reward.
- This quest can be completed once a day.
[Lucky 3!3!3!] Census Week Two Check
- Lovely Flame Badge: One of a kind, untradeable. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +2, W.ATT/M.ATT +1
May 27 - June 2Rewards:
- Help the Maple Administrator take a census of Maple World!
- The event is split into two parts and each part is based on a week. Week Two is May 27 - June 2.
- Players who accept the same quest 3 times in a week will receive a reward.
- This quest can be completed once a day.
[Lucky 3!3!3!] 300 Down
- Lovely Flame Belt: One of a kind, untradeable. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +2
May 20 - June 24[Lucky 3!3!3!] Daily Gifts
- The Maple Admin is up to her eyeballs in paperwork, but still wants you to defeat 300 monsters for her.
- This quest can be repeated every 10 minutes.
- You will be given a 3x3 Event Box if you manage to complete this Herculean feat. Each box has a chance to give one of the below rewards:
- A random scroll for the 3x3 Gloves
- A random trait consumable
- Sunrise Dew (10)
- Melting Cheese(10)
- If you manage to defeat 300 monsters 3 times, you will get an even better 3x3 Event Gold Box, which has a chance to give:
- 3x3 Gloves: Untradeable. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, W.ATT/M.ATT +1
- Equip Enhancement Scroll
- Chaos Scroll
- Power Elixir (10)
- A random scroll for the 3x3 Gloves
May 20 - June 24Roses for Cassandra
- The Maple Admin is giving you 3 gifts every day for the length of the event. You need at least 3 open slots in your Use inventory to accept the quest.
- She gives you some:
- Fresh Strawberry Juice (10): Restores 3000 MP/HP
- 1.3x EXP Coupon: Buff lasts for 60 minutes. coupon is 1 day duration.
- Lucky 3!3!3! Event Teleport Rock: The Lucky 3!3!3! Event Teleport Rock will take you to any town, but can only be used once every 30 minutes and disappears after 3 hours.
- This quest can be completed once a day.
June 3 - June 9Requirement: Lv. 33 and above
Rewards:
- Accept the quest "Roses for Cassandra" from the Star notifier on the left side of the screen.
- Complete the quest to gain EXP and a consumable item
- Complete the quest for all 7 days during the event period to get an additional reward.
- Delicious Chocolate (30): Recovers 2000 MP/HP
The Lovely Flame
- Complete the quest for all 7 days during the event period to get the following reward:
- Lovely Flame Shoulder: One of a kind, untradeable. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +5, W.ATT/M.ATT +5, W.DEF/M.DEF +30
June 3 - June 9Rewards:
- Accept the quest "The Lovely Flame" from the Star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
- To complete the quest, you must have the Lovely Flame Badge, Lovely Flame Belt, and Lovely Flame Shoulder.
Black Bean Boss
- 10th Anniversary Coin (50)
June 3 - June 23Requirement: Lv. 70 and above
Rewards:
- For a limited time you can fight Black Bean!
- Accept the quest "[BlackBean] Little Richie Panic" from the Star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
- Once you accept, you will be moved to "Gold Beach Resort" where you must talk to NPC Agent Buttons to start the fight.
- You must be in a party to enter the fight.
- Daily entry limit for the fight is 5 times.
- Black Bean Ring: One of a kind. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, W.ATT/M.ATT +1
- Black Bean Belt: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +2, W.ATT/M.ATT +2
- Black Bean Shoulders: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +1, W.ATT/M.ATT +1
