Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

If it were Ancient... These rolls, damn. Too bad I won't really be M6ing much anymore.

A friend is having an issue, it says "The game connection has been lost: your client has been disconnected from the server" when joining/starting a game. It started with Patch 2.2 and we can't figure how to fix it, we tried restarting router, resetting DNS, restarting PC and switching from Wifi to cable.


Those seemed to work but last night things got worse and he could log in, see his characters but starting a game is impossible. I tried looking for fixes (easier in English, compared to our native language) but I could only find threads of people describing the same issue.


Do you guys know of a fix or of something we could do to make it a bit better? Reddit seems to be dead.

Interesting. It could simply be distance.
You're pretty damn far away from where the servers are hosted, while connections can be bounced all over the world, it doesn't change the fact that there's still going to be some processing time between you and the server.

If they can manage to get into the game, there'll be a vertical bar on the HUD, next to your resource meter, between the orb that your mana / whatever is stored in and the settings buttons.

That'll give latency information. If your ping is absurdly high, that'd be what the issue is.

EDIT: He didn't want to check if it was his internet but 15 minutes later he's so laggy he can't even get into Facebook or Team Speak to talk with me lol.

It is hilarious in the sense that a ring that most of us just salvage right away turned out to be insanely broken.

Thanks to him for a spiffy Convention of Elements for my Wizard, but I kept dying all the time. Enjoying DMO quite a bit though it's quite different from the other classes I've been playing. I'm finding CoE to be fairly taxing to watch too, but it's nice to have a bit more complexity.

Also finished up Roland's 6-piece on my Crusader and F&R. It's so glassy though, and I still don't have an Ancient weapon. Gonna reroll a Skorn I found on my Wizard but still... Want a Maximus!

Apparently Hydra does more damage when it's in melee range of the monster instead of at ranged, even with Zei's.

Also Aether Walker Wizard seems to be the best solo build and pushes higher GRs than SSTR6. Looks like I now have two weapons to look out for.

I saw the Aether Walker build earlier. Sounds really cool. I actually did a couple of runs on my Wizard, and I managed to pick up an okay non-Ancient Serpent's Sparker and pretty rubbish Gesture of Orpheus (low base damage). Too bad I have a good Devastator now. Not sure if I should still Ramaladni the Serpent's Sparker and reroll +10% Damage...

Also got this swag piece on my Demon Hunter recently. Base damage could be a bit higher but it's quite nice.

I leveled up a second Demon Hunter to 70 so I could put my non-Unhallowed Essence on him.
Hoping to get an Ancient Danetta's so I can get a better speedrunning Nat's build going, and otherwise set up a strong Nat's set.

I didn't like the Aether Walker build so much, looked interesting but meh. Enjoying more Delsere+Tal Rasha build, everything just drops so quickly, even if I'm still missing the Gesture of Orpheus.
Once I get it it should help with survivability issues I'm having when Slow Time is on CD.

Oh and by the way, do any of you guys have seasonal characters that can help me and my friend get the boss achivements? We just need a couple to get the portrait.

I have a Wiz that can do up to Diablo T4. Malthael T5 took me around 20+ minutes to do lol.
Also AW heavily reminds me of Raekors, just with a billion meteors flying everywhere with TR and Meteor Shower rune.

Picked up this pretty insane TR amulet earlier tonight while doing T6 Speed rifts with [MENTION=535]JoeTang[/MENTION]. Still need that Serpent Sparker though.

I still need a Serpent Sparker too. I've had 2 wands drop in like 10 hours of playing ._.
I'm also clearing rifts in 3-5 minutes and spending blood shards on a barb to play something different and it's been pretty crappy too. Yesterday I got like 4 items from Kadala, not a single one today with like 5k shards, so unlucky!
