I figured it was fake despite the footage anyway.... what kind of "leaker" would just show a video of the character select screen and call it good? The lack of in game footage of rayman actually fighting and moving around was the big thing that should have raised a flag for everyone.

Except gameplay of Shulk was very shortly after recorded and put on youtube? That was the nail in the coffin, I didn't even remotely believe it until actual gameplay was shown.

Looks like we should expect an announcement/release within a couple of weeks. Which coincides with the fact we are due a Nintendo Direct I think. People are speculating it could be next week.

I look forward to seeing if they are announcing anything else, or if the only DLC will be Mewtwo.

There's no way in hell they'd spend this long developing him and have him be MELEE levels of trash. Or even trash in general. He's going to be just fine.

Takamaru was initially planned/briefly considered as a playable character, was scrapped because of lack of familiarity within the fanbase.

Just watched Mewtwo's announcement trailer... I know I'm judging prematurely, but it looked like he had his EXACT Melee moveset. Please, Nintendo, let there be at least SOMETHING new about him.

Also Lucas was confirmed to also be coming back as DLC in June.

King K. Rool should be the most voted... His moveset is incredibly easy to pull off (just see the final boss battles from Donkey Kog 1, 2 and 3), he's a villain, SWORDLESS, heavy-weighted... Basically what the roster would need...

I would absolutely LOVE to see another representative from the DK series.

King K. Rool and Dixie Kong being my top two choices. And just like with King K. Rool, a lot of her moveset can already be created from her abilities in other games. Up+B has her helicopter her ponytail to fly upward and, somewhat similarly to Peach, as she begins to descend, she can continue to helicopter to slow/halt her descent. She has her own popgun that shoots bubblegum, which could have different properties and be more about setting up attacks, like ZSS stun gun. All her throws can be done with her ponytail, as she always picked things up, even heavy objects; hell, she even uses it to also do a powerful ground slam. Maker her a medium-weight character, since she's still small, but not as fast or tiny as Diddy.

There's a large amount of terrible choices on the subreddit's thread about this. Stuff like Sora from KH, Goku from DB, and other pomegranate that doesn't even make sense. I'm sure there's also Cloud and Sephiroth, but I didn't scroll far enough down. All the terrible ideas.
