Death Parade 1-7

My god this is good. My favorite kind of introspective, noir show with amusing and appealingly designed characters and a dash of humor. And the OP. Ohhhh the OP. It's so exciting! Makes me want to dance. And I love how happy it is compared to the seriousness of the show.

Durarara 2 episode 7: Boy, there sure are a lot of Russians in this show now. Dennis, Simon, Egor, Varona, Sloan.. I guess the commander and Drakon count too. I was almost hoping that the russian plot would connect with Baccano and involve the immortals, but apparently not.

A rather slow episode considering the first half was simply a flashback. The second half was awesome though, Varona vs Anri, Celty chasing after Varona and Sloan, Celty and Anri being adorable together and kicking ass.

Raises more questions though, like who would put a hit out on Anri, unless they somehow wanted a talented assassin like Varona to be under Saika's control (which makes me think of Shingen, actually. It wouldn't surprise me)

so basically, every time they ate a person they were given a chance to "eat" the Invisible Storm attacking Kureha, and the reason Ginko had to eat Sumika was that Sumika had made herself a target of the Invisible Storm by refusing to exclude Kureha, and the Invisible Storm transfers itself upon anyone that does not exclude the target, which Kureha did not do with Sumika. And the principal is just a plantain and had no reason to eat Reia other than jealousy.

Still not exactly sure WHAT the physical manifestation of the Invisible Storm is, but that will most likely be covered in one of the last episodes.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin 1: Twas worth the wait barring a few offputting parts where cg was used badly(not a spoiler). Its also nice since it poses no spoilers to the series, meaning anyone can watch it. (though be warned it is like 80% politics, and if that isn't your thing, early UC timeline isn't your cup of tea)

So sad Parasyte is over. I waited in anticipation for each and every episode to be released, I loved it so much. I very rarely get feelings from movies or shows, but I almost teared up a few times while watching. The characters seemed so relate-able for some reason, and I wanted Shinichi to succeed after going through so many struggles. Fitting ending, it will be missed.

I was confused about what you meant here, until I realized. Gosh she was a pointless character wasn't she? I kept thinking "She'll become important eventually" every episode until it was the penultimate episode and it's like.. crap.

Parasyte: Ending was okay I guess. A bit anticlimactic compared to the rest of the show.

One of the few shows that escaped drowning in my backlog
Shinmai Maou no Testament: Censored/10. It's probably one of the most hardcore lewd things broadcasted, and definitely deserved this intensity of censoring, though the way they did it made it pretty funny a lot of the times. I haven't seen many shows take it lewder than this. It was an overall good show though. Fairly good on most points, though some of the plot elements were a bit... Well, I'm mainly thinking about Basara's backstory and all the h8rs. The very ending really just came out of nowhere completely unexpected though. There's just few things that have that level of badassery, and I hope it carries into season 2 more, as the hype trailer they showed implies, because season 1 was more on the dramatic side than fighting or making moves, so to speak. MORE ZEST PLS

k. Anyways. The TTK was away for so long because he had to find a part time job and grind IRL to get money to buy resources to LSC Taihou, buy repair goddesses, and buckets to finish the AL/MI event. Didn't even get a drop!

Log Horizon 2 25: Cool end to the season. Sucks that it's caught up to the source though.

Log Horizon 2nd Season: sadly s3 is no where in near sight

Dog Days'': IMO less entertaining relative to previous two seasons
Kamisama Kiss s2: better than what i expected
Assasination Classrom (TV): its aight
Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love!(Mahou Shounen mang): its aight as well
Kancolle: IMO could have been better
Kofuko no Grafiti: waiting on watching the end forgot to
Death Parade: Great animu, bittersweet ending
Seiken Tsukai no World Break: generic action harem animu, this time where you are either flat, or stacked like pineapple
Isuca: this show is absolutely pomegranate
Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata: suprisingly the romance is tuned down relative to what i expected, its not ultra great, but is watchable
Shinmai Maou no Testament: it was aight, i think Akatsuki in author's other work is more interesting though. Basara is too much of a white knight.

Magic Kaito 1412(Still missing a few episodes thanks to FFF): Pretty enjoyable and overall fun show.

Saekano: Entertaining at times and boring at times, overall alright.

Sanzoku no Musume Ronja: Faithful and good adaption of one of my favourite childhood stories, i'm probably a bit too biased but i enjoyed it a ton.

Rolling Girls: Overall pretty meh even though i thought it had a great start.

AZ2: haha oh wow season 2 was such a big step down from season 1 and season 1 wasn't even that great to begin with

Death Parade: Great show, sad it's over but it had a good ending even if i'm still left with some questions.

Dog Days'':Way more boring than the previous two seasons, too much focus on boring characters

DRRR: More of what you would expect from DRRR, i didn't enjoy it as much as i did the first season but that's mostly due to the first season having more episodes at once, i think if i ended up binging through part 1, 2 and 3 of season 2 i'd probably enjoy it as much as i did season 1

Junketsu no Maria: Pretty fun and despite the magic fairly accurate show historically in many regards and representations

Akatsuki no Yona: Had a slow start and a rushed ending but the middle was super good

Cross ange: What a pineappleing mess of a story lmao, the ending was a bit meh but not bad

Garo: SO pineappleING GOOD, HOLY pomegranate THAT ENDING, SEASON 2 CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH

Parasyte: Solid all the way, super enjoyable show

Log horizon: Start was a bit meh but in the end it was super enjoyable, not quite like season 1 was but i definitely want season 3 ASAP but i know it wont come anytime soon

Nanatsu no Taizai: Season 2 soon, please? Pretty please? I don't know why but i enjoyed this so pineappleing much.

Shirobako: Overall super solid show with a big cast of good characters. Ema 2cute4me.

Absolute Duo: Dropped, lost interest after the first episode and after episode 3 i just gave up

Kancolle: Dropped, concept was okay but after a few episodes i just got bored and didn't really care about the characters or what happened and stopped watching

Koufuku graffiti: Dropped, i watched half of this show and then kind of stopped following it and then just decided to drop it, not because it was bad but because the show was a lot of the same over and over and i just wasn't really interested in seeing more of it.

Shinmai: Dropped, i somehow forgot reading part of the source material and picked up the anime, after remembering why i stopped reading the LN i dropped the anime. Didn't like the MC or the main girl and the whole slave servant contract pomegranate ruined it for me, i don't mind fan service heavy shows, i pineappleing love DxD but shinmai just pineappleing bored me and didn't make me care about the MC or Mio or anything that happened so it's not even like i dropped it because there was too much fanservice. The censors were also pineappleing awful, might give it another try when BDs come out.

Yuri Kuma: Gave it 3 episodes and just lost interest, it wasn't interesting and neither were the characters. It wasn't even 2deep4me, it was just legit boring and unintersting.

Most say this season was more lackluster than the first, but I tend to disagree, I like the raids and skill-nerding over anything else, and this season was definitely much more interesting in both of those regards with the multiple endgame raids shown, Kuden being shown, and even showing normal skill meshing across classes with a competent raid leader in charge.

This was actually a surprisingly good series, and I can't imagine they won't have a S2 seeing as they left off literally right in the middle of the story, it would be like if nanatsu no taizai ended right when they found the final member without resolving even the current arc's issues.

sweet jesus, a sorairo days cover, and a pretty decent one at that. The im@s one will always be the best but I'm definitely going to grab this one too when it's released.

37 items in my backlog now from this season still, need to finish this stuff off before next season starts and I get even further behind.

I will say that Dog Days'' was incredibly disappointing compared to the first two, but at least we get another insert song, Millhi is her best role VAing-wise, even better than Kouko in my opinion, and I like her voice anyway, can never have too many Yui Horie tracks.

Anyway, sad that Digimon got pushed back. And didn't realize Durararax2 is split into multiple single seasons, so I don't know what to watch this season now.

This season is pretty top tier, you should be able to find plenty of things worth your time.

Hmm! Death Parade had an increase in scores with the conclusion of the two-part murderer arc, and a massive jump in ratings for the final episode. What was episode 4 again?

Episode 4 was the 3real5me NEET vs Actress DEATH ARCADE.

I've watched several shows this season, and it's quite a good season.
Oregairu: is great. 8man. The hero we deserve etc.
Shokugeki no Souma: is just what I imagined it to be. Gonna enjoy this a lot.
DanMachi: is fantastic. Really nice intro, setting, and an MC who looks like he'll grow a spine. The wolf papaya was intentionally annoying. Other girl looks like a Rei (emotionless doll?)
Fate Stay Night - Unlimited Blade Works: ufotable saving animu. Rin <3. Everything about this is amazing. What's also amazing is how people don't know why Archer betrayed Rin. It's not that they need to read the VN or anything, it's like they didn't watch season 1.
Plastic Memories: is... I'm not sure if my heart can hold out for an entire season of this. I wonder how they'll spin it, if they even will? I can totally see this as just being a tragedy.
Gunslinger Stratos: was a bit iffy. Some nice PTSD, classism, murder, pretty good fight scenes.
Seraph of the End: was very gay. Looks like it suddenly shifts into school life too so.... On the lower end of things here.
Arslan Senki: is a holy crusade? Allahu akbar?
Baby Steps 2 I really like this series. A bit on the slow pace but interesting for some reason. Surprised they used the same OP, but I guess it really does fit the show. Last few seconds of the OP animation were neat.

The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan 01: Okay so I kind of phased out while watching this because it wasn't too interesting aside from Nagato being moeblob.
Kekkai Sense: Pretty cool set up, fun fight scenes. Wondering if MC will have spine or not. Not sure if I liked how they intro'ed it though because that kind of takes a bit away from how he got his powers?
Hibike! Euphonium: KYOANI MOEBLOBS TO THE RESCUE. I really liked this episode actually. Looks like good moeshow.
Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku: Kind of annoying in my opinion.
