Hello. I’m In Lee, the CEO of Neople.

A lot happened on the first day of the open beta service, and the service did not go smoothly. To start with, I’d like to apologize for this.

As a development studio it is our first try in servicing a game, and through the 24 hours of live broadcasting we heard your voices and you had the chance to see us. This was a truly amazing experience. The staff members of Neople and I will cherish and remember this wonderful memory forever. Thank you so much for such a great memory. I am very grateful.
It’s very rare for a game to reopen after a closure, and I think having a live broadcast of the countdown with the players would also be a first. It was amazing. It was a true honor to have you with us during that moment.

There are many issues with the current version. We are keeping an eye out for the comments made by you while exerting efforts to fix them as soon as we can. But as you all know, we are only human so we are bound to make mistakes and take some time to fix it all. I’d like to ask for your kind understanding. I would like you to know that the staff have worked 72 hours straight until the opening of the beta service and have not gone home since then, still carefully monitoring the service.

You don’t have to tell us that we are doing a great job. I would be grateful if you were just aware of the fact that we are trying our best.

Including myself, we only have 10 staff members dedicated for the global DFO.
However the rest of Neople staff are helping us and with their help we have started the service of DFO.
These staff are the volunteers who have challenged themselves for the future of Neople.

We will continue to challenge ourselves and I know it will be a difficult one.

The long journey of preparatory times have ended, and now we have begun another great journey to service the game to the players.

You, the players, are the source of our power to march forward. Our future starts with you.

We will fix problems one by one.
I will be honest with you. I can’t promise that we will fix every single problem that exists.
However I can promise you that the staff and I will always do our best.
All the staff have been overworking but with your support we are holding it out. Please send a message of support for the staff.

It’s something I have always felt – making and servicing a game is always a tough job.

Trying to launch DFO causes the launcher to delete itself from my computer, meaning I have to go into the files, run the launcher updater (to re-download the launcher again) before I am able to run the game.

Also, look what I got!

NA-West is down indefinitely until they fix the server issues on NA-West (ETA (according to them) is > 1 day). Cain (NA-East) is up in the meantime. NA-West is up, but will be down again later to add an extra fix.

There were only 2 hotkey bars in the original dfo. You have to start using the commands.

The recent announcement for US-West concerns me a bit. They make it seem like the only people having the Alpha character problem is West server players only. Really hope my characters don't end up being there :|

As Jormungandr said, only 2, & use of commands.

I would suggest setting the Tier 2(lv. 30 summons) on a hotkey due to their commands not matching with T1/T3 (although they aren't hard).

Tier 1(lv. 15) and Tier 3(lv. 60) summons have the same exact commands by default with the exception that lv. 60 ones have an additional left/right before Z.

1st Awakening actives are universally "up up down down Z" by default.

Echev and Louise are basically the same with the initial command reversed.

Sandor and Enraged Sandor are a bit confusing compared to each other, so possibly hotkeyed?

Freet and Aukuso, most people drop these I think, or use to.

just tested and deleted a character yesterday and I can use its name now to create another

however the names of the chars I deleted in alpha cannot be reused, (and I tested on both servers) lmao

So I looked through some old pics of my summoner, and I have hordor, whip, phase shift, mm, tier 1 summons, floare and one I can't see (might be summoner train).

One of my friends with a lvl 70 summoner back then had whip, mark the target, tier 1 light/dark/ice, tier 2 light/dark/ice, hordor, regular sandor, louise, and EX ardor (not sure on this one, it's EX with the tier 1 fire pic).

Maybe it's me but I'm not really feeling Danjun's new voice.

sigh, cant even play because of terrible implementation of tools to prevent botters. only active programs i have on are steam, pidgn(chat service), AI Suite(asus mobo toolset) and Flux (closed everything else essentially) cant even get to the character select screen without being booted out

Is this true? Does anyone have confirmation? Anyone still able to make a character today to test it?

I tested it, seems like non-alpha character IGN's are safe to delete and remake. One day was enough to reset a name, but the alpha name I deleted is gone to the abyss.

Looks like they'll make it so that you can get your Alpha characters back in either server!

When in doubt, start picking off the programs one by one until you find the problem.

Also thank god they're allowing you to recover Alpha characters on both servers instead of being completely at their mercy of choosing for you. Now if only they would find the problem for those still missing said characters. Dark Knight is fun and all, but I want my Zerker (and everyone else) back
