Black Heaven Discussion [Spoilers]

I figure some people will have had the chance to play it already and considering that it goes on for like a full month that there might as well be a thread for it.

So far I think it's actually pretty interesting. The fact that they put Lotus and Orchid's backstory in game when it was previously just an online comic was neat to see. I also noticed they seem to have specific lines for what class you're playing the story as. I was surprised they even gave lines to Mihile when they seem to have totally forgot about him otherwise.

Eh, you can take it for the Mihile thing. It's why I'm running everything with him first. (He gets a special line in Friendstory upon seeing himself too) I can now say I have a Mihile for quest easter eggs.

The classes with the most exclusive dialogue would be Phantom and Xenon (And no one was surprised) for those wondering. (Act 3 is great on Xenon)

Well... given how they unlock themselves through Moco, yes. Yes, you do need to do the first chapters to do the last ones.

I say put screenies for those who doesn't have a specific class

Maybe we can do something like that when it's all over, because there's a few more exclusive dialogue to come up, but yeah I'm all for that idea.

I was just going through it on my Zero and I didn't realize you could use their Burst Step skill on the part where you climb the wires. It even allowed me to get back onto it once after I fell off

Do you know anyone who won the dogfight?
I haven't even tried it yet, but everyone I talk to says they failed X number of times and then skipped it. Perhaps that is part of the script (like being KO'ed by the Dragon/Tiger masters in that piece of content).

I refuse to continue until i succeed

I don't know anyone who has succeeded, but its pretty sweet that Nexon made it skippable if you've failed it a certain number of times ;-;

edit: I distinctly remember seeing a screen shot on max's blog showing some boss during the fight which I haven't even reached yet. It looks winnable.

I think the boss probably comes later. When you skip it flat out tells you that the practice will be "useful later".

The farthest I could get was stage 4. Hearts rarely seem to drop from monsters so its difficult to heal and the hitboxes seem to be bigger than the sprites (especially the flames and the head of your character).
