<Important message to those who participated in Alpha test>
For OBT, please log in with your Facebook account to retrieve your characters created back in Alpha test. On Mar 24, 2015, the teaser page will be turned into OBT page. Then you can log in with your Facebook account. Those who did not participated in Alpha last year, it is not applicable.

If you never use your facebook account / created it soley to play DFO, I guess they mean for you to use it to access the characters you made/played during the time. Some people just created an account solely for this.

Yeah, it's the same client released under Nexon NA. I was more referring to the fact that the file was updated 13 days ago, hinting towards a re-release on Steam.

They said they won't be monetizing the game yet, which makes me kind of sad since I actually have a job now.

I was hoping they'd start the avatar shop with some of the older avatars, so my battle mage could have her valkyrie set again. Back when avatars were sold by coins and standard avatars were pretty cheap on auction house, half the game was just me hunting that set down.

I think I might go ham on safe upgrades and avatars. Hopefully everything will be decreased in price too since nexon isn't the ringleader anymore.

I just hope they give us a chance at the older avatars.

From the looks of it, anyone who participated in Alpha is eligible to recover their accounts once the CBT starts. As for those who didn't participate in Alpha, that wasn't discussed, I think. And they're calling this an "Open Beta part 1"
