I think it's hilarious at the number of people on the Nexon Forums and Maple subreddit that are actually defending Nexon for the blatant copypasta.

Surprisingly, the thread on Nexon Forums where I posted it didn't have anyone really defend it, but some were in denial. But this is just hilarious.

The thing about this is I don't think this is the first time they've done this. I've seen them write similar patch notes to Max in the past, and I just thought it was a coincidence.

I'm assuming Max is mostly translating the original Korean patch notes, and the GMS people do too, so it makes sense that it would come out somewhat similar.

I suspect that the reason they used your text is because they were running out of time to post the update notes and didn't have anything ready. And that is also why they didn't have time to ask permission.
(Not that that justifies anything. We've had update notes posted after the game goes down, before. They could have waited a few hours and worked on their own translation meanwhile. Like they're presumably doing now that they got busted).

Wow what a rookie mistake. If you are going to rip someone of never copy it word for word. Especially on the internet. They were too lazy to even change it up, why am I not surprised.

God I hope all that client optimisation stuff works, the game is a mess. It's ridiculous how bad it runs.

Why don't they just make cash trading permanent. No point having restrictions if they are going to bring this event back so much.

getting honor exp so good now. got like 600 from pb (4 medals dropped giving 120-180exp) and ark gave me around 400 (3 medals dropped 120-170) haven't done all the bosses but its a good start.

does pb still require the marble thinguie hunt? i require like 16000 honor just to reset once (also, anyone knows if locking two lines glitches the system? last time i reset twice and had nothing change in my inner abilities

Nope. You just talk to the npc and get a marble a day.

yeah takes me 18.1k each reset (i lock the legend pot, 1st and 2nd line) but with this new system ill prob get maybe like 3-5k a day ? which is gucci

You only need to get the materials for the marble once to complete the quest line. Not too bad at all, right?

yay - memory usage appears to have reduced

i could get to the log in page on my old cheap laptop, though couldn't be bothered loggin in today. mem usage back to 500mb which was what it was before the expoential bloating of recent patches.

though it says it loads other elements later, whatever that means. will have to try loggin in to see if mem usage actually under control, or if they just delayed the bloating

That's weird, why have the Ignition event intentionally start in April? If you create a character now can you claim the rewards once the event starts or do you have to literally wait a month and start levelling then?

Also no shop on the Orchiroid sucks, knew it was too good to be true.

They corrected the Update Notes to match the in-game reality.
They didn't intend for the event to start in April, but someone typo'ed, and so until they get that fixed, they made the Notes match the game.

You can do your leveling now, and get the gifts whenever they get the event going (4/11 at the latest). Some will no longer be relevant, of course, but 2x is always nice (and more needed at higher levels, anyway). That's assuming this is the same kind of event we had for the revamped Cygnus Knights, where old characters could get all the gifts for the levels they'd passed years ago.
On the plus side, you have until May 7th to get your WH to 200 for Snow White and the Onyx Jaguar.
