MapleStory will be having a whole week of Hot Days! Get in-game for some great items!

Log in each day and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive the following items!

• Monday, February 23 - 1.5X EXP Coupon (10)
  
• Tuesday, February 24 - Eight-Chair Bag and 8-Title Holder
  
• Wednesday, February 25 - Spell Trace (200)
  
• Thursday, February 26 - Special Medal of Honor (2)
  
• Friday, February 27 - Mastery Book 30
  
• Saturday, February 28 - 3x4 Bit-Case and Bit-Box (3)
  
• Sunday, March 1 – Job Advancement Coin. And if you participated on characters in the same world (multiple worlds in World Alliances don't count!), you can also select one reward from the items given Monday through Saturday!

Warning everyone to claim the Chair and Title bags on a character that doesn't have an open chair bag or open title holder (of any size) yet.

Last time we got those two items, as a reward for Freud's Ring 3rd Week, it caused existing bags to be closed and the items in them to be lost. As far as I know nobody had their chairs or titles restored, either. So, be careful.

Well, there goes my extra 20k honor. No way in hell I'll be able to free up 11 Use slots on my Hero for Sunday. Guess I'll be doubling the mb30 on some other char.

Haven't logged in for quite a while now, the sheer lack of new content or even any mention of new content, both in GMS and KMS is making me forget about Maple altogether.

I thought that a Hot Week event might give me a reason to log in again, but I guess not.

That's exactly my problem. Hearing of new content in KMS usually gets me hyped, so I prepare ahead of time... But even if something was to announced now, it'd be like 5-6 months until we got it. No point in playing at all as a casual player right now.

Yeah, I think the only thing that could bring back my attention right now is a new Sengoku class being released.

There has been so little lately that even if something was released in KMS, it wouldn't excite me very much, due to, as you said, the content taking half a year to get over here.

Honestly, with how lackluster content updates have been recently, and the lack of any form of communication with the players, I would be disappointed if ALL they were working on right now was 5th job. The summer update better have 5th Job and some BIG updates or I might end up not logging in all year.

Sadly, I don't even think 5th job would revitalize the game. There are just too many problems keeping too many people away. Sure, it would cause a spike in population, but just like any other major patch, people would get bored and drop off again. Plus there's the question of "Where will the population be by the time 5th job is even released?"

Yea, 5th job would have to come with such a huge package of things to do and work for, dwarfing Leafre and the original 4th job quests by far. And even then it is a gamble since many of us can hardly be bothered to even log in anymore.

One thing is clear though, these small pissant updates we are given simply will not do.

And this is not even touching on the problem that is cubes.
