So Doflamingos past was a little more unfortunate that we thought it was but it seems he brought it upon his whole family by walking in town and trashing everyone demanding they'd all subdue to him.

Doffy has to be my least favorite villain. He isn't even hammy enough to be likable.

I believe this was intentional, Doffy represents, I would say, the concentrated "bastard" of the celestial dragons, which is why luffy is going to get a special, satisfying KO to him. I'm waiting for Doffy to snap and be like "IM A CELESTIAL DRAGON, I WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE" or something

A villain doesn't have to have "good" reasons for his evilness to be likeable. Doflamingo is one of the best character in one piece, in my opinion. His design is cool, he's crazy as hell, his background is interesting and he has one of the best pirate crews ever introduced. The only downside in my opinion is his overpowered devil fruit (string clones and bircage are too much).

Another hint towards what the will of D might be. Great episode!

Great chapter indeed, although its kind of unrealistic that all doctors in all countries would just pomegranate their pants when listening of amber lead instead of knowing the true nature of the disease. I mean Doflamingo is an psycho and yet he knows.

This. Saying Corazon's ability is not badass is simply ludicrous. Imagine all the kind of stealth operations that could be carried out while casting this ability, he can literally infiltrate anywhere if he can make even security systems go mute.

This week's chapter was one of the best in the entire arc. Seriously, A+.

Pretty much. Without something resembling a fleet they won't be making it very far into the New World, and they definitely won't be fighting any of the Yonkou without one, simply because they will exhaust themselves fighting fodder long before they even get to the main ship.

Also, the latest episode of the anime probably had the animation budget of at least 10 normal episodes; much better drawing quality, huge increase in frames, much better lighting, etc.
