Durarara 2 episode 1: Good lord that is a lot of new characters, it even looks like they've had to leave some out of the OP. I love the character designs though, did I spot a guy completely covered in bandages in the ED? damn.

Kind of a slow episode, but it gave some hints as to future plot lines like the gruesome serial murderer, Celty being hunted, ect. I'm quite curious as to where the plot is going to go, and how all of these new characters are going to factor into it.

It was very cool to see Celty showing off more of her powers, she was so funny in this episode, best character in the show by far.

Also there was some freeze frame bonuses of Firo and Isaac & Miria from Bacanno, which is pretty cool. (though Firo looks a bit older, and as an immortal he shouldn't age right? hmm)

I think I get it; BEAR IS CODE FOR LESBIAN. That makes sense, seeing as all the bears are molesting the girls who are into other girls, and suddenly regular girls are becoming bears. If it turns out that girls that get eaten turn into bears, that's all the proof I need, thems ain't bears, they are just lesbians.

Durarara 2 episode 2: wow, a lot happened in this episode, even though it didn't feel like it due to it skipping all over the timeline.

The twins are amazing, I loved Izaya's explanation of their mixed up personalities, and the younger twin wrecking those bullies was amazing. Also casually yet loudly proclaiming her love of porn and being bisexual in front of the whole class haha.
The older twin is cute too, I like her. I wonder if her being an arsonist is gonna be an actual thing.

I really liked the way they incorporated these 2 into the plot, I was wondering how they were going to fit in, but I wasn't expecting them to get thrown into the plot so quickly. (and so deep)

Aoba is surprisingly likable. I wonder what his "baggage" is.

Celty was adorable as hell in this episode. Her getting all flustered was the best. I'm still amazed at how they can make a character with no head have so much personality in her actions.

Shingen used to be the wielder of Saika? and he traveled around foreign countries cutting mythical creatures with it? That is spin-off material right there. It was interesting to see Anri already getting involved with the plot again, I really like her character and hate when she gets sidelined.

That tall guy was a bit creepy, I think it would be too obvious if he was the serial killer though.

Also what the pineapple was with that zombie? It looks like he/it is going to show up in the next episode, so I hope we get an explanation of what that is all about. They wouldn't just introduce another mythical creature that randomly would they?

Soooo many new characters this episode, and there are still so many more to introduce ahhhhh

Also the OP and ED are already growing on me, Durarara has great music.

It may be that the "eat" they refer to while in bear court is different from the "eat" they refer to outside of it, it seems now that every time they have been approved to do so they have saved Kureha's life.

Parasyte episode 14 and 15: Pretty gripping stuff. I like the character development, even if only the main character and Migi are getting any screentime right now (due to pretty much everyone else being dead)

The music in this series is on point, it's really great. though the ED seems pretty out of place with how "pop-like" it is compared to the screamo opening and the dark subject matter of the show.

On one hand I found the Parasites scarier when they couldn't show emotion. I get that it's a logical step up considering they are trying to blend in amongst the humans, but still. Holy pomegranate the part with the baby though, the main villain is written in a way that REALLY makes you hate her, like wow.

The whole series just screamed "Death Note" to me from the start, and the dream sequence in episode 15 made me pause big time. from a distance Migi looked exactly like Rem and I thought "holy pomegranate, are the shinigami involved in this?"

Durarara 2 episode 3: Well, that explains who the serial killer is, and what that zombie was all about.

But her identity raises a few questions as to what exactly she is. She clearly has supernatural strength and healing, and she gives off the same "scent" as Celty. I wonder if she's some kind of Fairy too. That last scene was a bit weird. She can turn into a headless suit of armour? Is she a Dullahan with her head intact?

And now I know who the bandaged man in the ED is, kinda.

Characters are being introduced so quickly right now, barely any of the time in this episode was devoted to the characters from the first season. That's not a bad thing though as all the characters are quite interesting.

I wish they'd stop jumping all over the timeline though. It doesn't really add anything to the plot and I'm unsure of how much time has even passed.

Quite interesting to have a female Char clone in a series for once.
I hadn't expected

the grandson of the Team Nemesis owner from the first season to show up in the series. Glad he turned out much better than his grandfather. Bonus points for using a Crossbone Gundam. The one Mao built at the end of the first season, while it looked the part, fought nothing like one.

Speaking of which, so Sunrise, how bout a Crossbone Gundam adaptation, eh? I really like Late UC era mobile suits.

To talk about this show seriously for a moment... I don't know what to think about Jesus Yamato Tusk. What's his role in this story supposed to be? I get he's supposed to be Ange's love interest, but every interaction between the 2 seems to end up in some kind of ecchi rom com antics. Though this really is a problem with the show overall, trying to mix these lewd antics with a supposedly serious story.

Better to turn my brain off for this show anyhow.

Figure I'll put up my own little list.

Go Princess Precure 1: hard to say, given it only started. Somewhat feels like someone threw Heartcatch and Smile in a blender and set to puree. Cure Flora has aspects that remind me of past Cures Flower, Peach and Happy. I'll admit the introduction of the fairies was a twist with Haruka catching both fairies.

Yu-gi-oh Arc-V 41: Nice little twist with having a mix of plots from the second YGO series that felt more like a combination of the CEO battle and Rare Hunter arcs. Seeing what happened with the rules for the Battle Royale where there are now more people in play looking out for Pendulum cards as well. (Pendulum summoning is the new mechanic introduced for the card game.)

Aikatsu! 118: Was interesting seeing the swap between the two schools with Yuu transfering out and Miyabi taking her role. Miyabi in reminds me of a more serious Sora from a previous season. Was nice actually seeing Akari & Miyabi having a little talk near the end.
