MapleStory will be having another whole week of Hot Days! Get in-game for some great items!

Log in each day and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive the following items!

• Wednesday, January 7 - Etc Tab 4 Slot Coupon

You try updating your HShield folder? Usually fixes the NGS hack error.

Reinstalling BlackCipher from the website fixed it for me earlier but I guess time will tell if it's actually fixed or not.

It will probably still work if you do it on different characters in the same world. I doubt they've changed the programming. They just don't want to deal with people from allianced worlds complaining.
However, best not to risk it if you don't have to.

I really wish they'd increase the limit on inventory slots... I've had everything but Storage and Etc. maxed for at least 7 months now.

I have maxed equip slots on one pirate character. maybe ill also get a maxed etc after this one also

You do know you can get them on different characters, right?
I got all but the last day's week1 items on my phantom, then the last day(chair+double of a day's previous items) on my shadower.

They changed the text because people who got the boxes on different chars in different worlds, didn't get the doubled reward.
As I said above, I don't think this week is programmed any differently than the previous ones.
But, better safe than sorry, I suppose.

when i got them the equip slots were permanent. theoretically you could hold them until the mythical day when nex decides to increase max slots.

or get them on another character. I would do this since I am not getting the attendance bonus, and i think the same system wold carry over to this week anyway.

Heads up: the Update Notes were ninja-edited yet again. Now they say:

Requirement: Any character Lv. 30 or above

During the event period, log in and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive a Gift Box, then double click the box in your inventory to open it.
The Gift Box can be obtained once every day, and can be opened until 1:00 AM Pacific of the following day.
Reward items for each day's Gift Box are listed below. All rewards except the Spell Traces are untradeable.
If you obtain a Gift Box every day from Monday to Saturday with characters in the same world (multiple worlds in World Alliances don't count!), then on Sunday—in addition to Sunday's reward—your character will receive another gift of your choice from Monday to Saturday's offering.
