hmm, power elixir, tempting as that sounds, won't bother since probably have family stuff to do so can't go for whole week. attendance events are sort of a little crazy and impossible for me. surely they could have a few days of leeway, not even school has a 100pc attendance requirement

i only just managed to get my slots through all the server madness but that is probably enough stress for my holidays

also I am sort of expecting that the double gift will be glitched and they will end up giving it to everyone

During the event period, log in and click the gift box icon on the left side of your game window to receive a Gift Box, then double click the box in your inventory to open it.
The Gift Box can be obtained once every day, and can be opened until 1:00 AM Pacific of the following day.
Reward items for each day's Gift Box are listed below. All rewards are untradeable.
If you obtain a Gift Box every day from Monday to Saturday, then on Sunday—in addition to Sunday's reward—you will receive another gift of your choice from Monday to Saturday's offering.

well my prediction on this one turned true. though in past events where they gave multiple coupons they were always separate slots.

tomorrow we will see if my prediction about the attendance double gift failing turns true. my guess - yes it will and everyone gets a second pendant!!!

And if you don't have the 10 slots you won't be allowed to pick a reward once you make space and retry.
At least, that's what happened on the one account I just did this on, despite having done all 7 days.

Edit: Seems that "participation" means opening all the boxes, not just claiming them.
