How was your day?

I have to work later today, I am extremely lazy this break and don't wanna do anything though. Final grades came in, and I'm extremely pleased because I was expecting much worse.

Pretty much almost done with my transfer to UT Austin, I just have to find a replacement for my lease. I'm working on cleaning my apartment here in San Antonio and posting an ad to craigslist, hopefully someone will snag it before the end of January or I'm gonna be in some trouble.

So my entire family cheated death.

We went on a 2-3 hour drive up to my grandmas to see her for christmas, and we have 2 cars, one that my mum uses and one that my dad uses. Usually for the big trips we use my dads car, because it is cheap and reliable (doesn't use much fuel, has barely ever broken down), but this time my dad decided to use the other car.

Fastforward slightly to today when my dad used his car to get to work and the back axle fell off and the wheel came off. If we had been using that car on the motorway going 70 miles per hour... I don't even wanna think about it.

A in cosmology, Bayesian, classical algebra, and topology.
B+ in quantum and E&M.

3.770 this semester. Kind of disappointed. I should have done better and gotten an A in E&M if I didn't pineapple up the final so bad.

Now I ain't no expert on these matters but it seems like things between them didn't work out and you were the backup option. I tend to think the worst of people, though.

I suppose this is possible, but there are so many inconsistencies that I can't seem to find something that actually makes sense of everything. She must have changed her mind at least twice to get this much back and forth. I'm disappointed that I managed to misjudge her that badly, but not very upset about it ending abruptly. I deserve better than whatever her problem is.

Went skating with my girlfriend on sunday and she helped me get better since I suck ass at skating. Then yesterday I went to my girlfriends cottage with her and her mom and sister for a night of skiing. I hadn't skied in 5 years and when I went on the hill I couldn't slow down and just ate pomegranate. It was funny and I got a lot better by the end of the night (I could make it to the bottom without falling :F2. Then hot tub and cuddling in bed together. Best winter break yet.

Got my biggest paycheck so far! Still only ~$630 dollar for 2 weeks of work

Plus my hours for next week are only 12. Just 12 hours. I'm looking for a new job, because they clearly don't give a damn about me trying to survive off what they give me at Michael's

Also, after holding off for like 2 years, I finally bought a pair of boots. The pair that everyone has, but a pair of boots nonetheless. So excited! Perfect timing on the purchase too since my normal pair of sneakers has a bunch of holes in them.

Hey, you got more than I did and I'm a manager lol. But, I know your pain. Let me tell you a fun story; the past two days are probably days that are "most shopped before Christmas" because it was literally 3 days away? We were forecasted ~15k each day, which is a modest forecast I guess. However, we did over 25k each day and I was scheduled to close with only one other sales floor person. That left me with one cashier, one floor, one framer, and me from about 6PM to 11PM. I was beyond pissed, I could not get anything done, I never escaped a register, the framer was backed up trying to push out orders before Christmas. I seriously have never felt so screwed in my entire life before.

It was my birthday yesterday but couldn't do pomegranate because when I woke up I had a rash, spent 8 hours in an a hospital waiting for a doctor to see me and tell me that it was just an allergic reaction to something i ate but that it was unlikely to find out what it was.

Amazing Christmas with the fam. My aunt got everyone a 7 day cruise to Key West/Bahamas, which'll be in July! Super excited for that since I've never been on one. Time to work on the bod.

There's never enough time in the day. More time is always needed for endeavors.
Also xmas was boring as all hell, but the day after sure was nice for many reasons.

I decided to give away all of my shirts that I don't wear to my cousins and as the pile of old shirts grew it hit me that most of the closet space was occupied by graphic t-shirts from like 2007 - early 2013

Bought the Transistor OST today on steam sale.
