NOW the breakup is imminent. 2 or 3 more episodes to go, so the big finale is just around the corner. I don't want Korra to end.

I don't think Kuriva knows that Aang + Zuuko originally had a plan called the Harmony Restoration movement, which originally gave back the land that's now Republic City back to the Earth Kingdom.

That end was completely predictable. The second Korra threatened to keep them apart forever, I knew Korvira would respond by just trying to kill Baatar Jr.

Also you can clearly see the reduction in production value with this episode. There was at least 2-3 minutes of still images. It's such a shame Nick doesn't recognize the worth of the franchise.

I also feel like this is the third season in a row with a random, completely ridiculous, addition/revelation/discovery/whatever. Season 2 it was the Jinora pomegranate. Season 3 it was Zaheer flying. This season it's that ridiculous giant mech. How would she possibly have kept that secret from everyone? I don't buy that at all.

well the mech was made from the metal domes from Zaofu. You could think she had that plan for a while. It did jump out of nowhere but I can see where it could come from. I think kuvira or someone will explain where it came out of in the next episode. I still hope there's a Korra Kuvira bending fight. Not just spirit Korra vs Mechuvira

I don't expect a return of Spirit Korra. They kidnapped Bataar to get a weakness of that mech suit out of him, and now that she's tried to kill him, there's no reason he wouldn't give Korra that information. I expect the first half of the finale will be dealing with the mech suit, while the second half will be a Korra vs Kuvira fight.

Hmmm. Anyone else think this finale will either be the best thing ever, or worst thing ever? Korra pretty much jobbed all season, all it took to bring Kuvira this close to losing was a couple hits from a partial Avatar state. There's now a hugeass army just asking to be demolished. We're likely to see loads of awesome and/or bad asspulls for them to wrap this all up. Korra is either going to realize her maximum potential, or it'll be more of a teamwork effort so we'd never see how powerful Korra really is. I really hope that foreshadowing from Zaheer isn't just a red herring.

Honestly this whole season has been hit or miss. Some aspects are awesome...and then there's other aspects that are gawdawful. I feel like Nick murdered their motivation with that crap mid-Season 3 and now they just want to get it over with. I don't blame them, and it's a fu'cking shame, it really is.

Don't think I'm going to sleep tonight. Just finished watching it. Too much feels. It's really sad that it's come to an end.

I'm guessing Korrasami is canon. I'm not sure if I liked it that way but if Korra was a lesbian then I understand. I hope Bryke clears this up. I felt bad for Kuvira when the laser went out of control but should have just given up. Tenzin wrapped it up nicely about Korra having accomplished a lot in such a small period of time, and she wants to do so much. I cried when Hiroshi died but u saw it coming miles away. Thought Mako was going to die. Thought Tenzin was going to die. Thought Korra was going to die. Loved the way Kuvira fought with the three orbs of platinum or whatever it was. One thing I mentioned above and want clear answers about is if Korra is a lesbian bi or whatever. I know it's a Nicks show but Bryke seem to listen to their fans. The way Korra's eyes lit up when Mako said what he said kind of implied that she had feelings but the way she and Asami held hands at the end was kind of implying things. Then again this might just be catering to Korrasami shippers but it actually being them just being friends going on an adventure. I'm in a shocked state. I loved how Republic City looks now with the spirit portal at it's center. I feel like it represents both worlds coming together. I hope they name that portal after Korra. I hope that in a few years they come out with a new avatar. Now because I'm super gay I'd wish for the avatar to be a he and be gay (though I would want this more if Bryke actually admitted to Korrasami being canon). Gay Earth Kingdom Avatar YAAAAAAASSSSS.

Well, that finale was fantastic.

The beginning of the Korra vs Kuvira fight was amazing. I thought Kuvira was fighting with Oil but then fire hit it and it didn't explode so I have no idea what that was supposed to be, but how Korra reflected Kuvira's initial attack with that liquid was absolutely amazing. I feel like they gave Kuvira that just to make Earthbending more powerful because it was arguably the weakest bending, offensively at least.

Bolin using a lava disc in the engine room was fantastic, simply because he took it after the bad guy in the previous season, who used it so well.

I don't mind that Korra might be a lesbian, but I don't get why they were so unclear and contradicting about it. One second she looks like she's about to jump on Mako when he mentioned being with her, but then she goes off alone with Asami. It was insanely unclear, which I find a little weird.

Overall, the finale was fantastic. Great bending fights. I kinda wish the super-mech wasn't in it at all, though.

Now THIS is how to end a series!
This finale was perfect. I enjoyed every minute of it.

That finale was perfect, absolutely perfect in just about every way. I legit freaked out at those final few minutes, what a beautiful ending.

I was already freaking out over them going away to the spirit world together.. but when they held hands and looked at each other like that as the final shot of the series. I very nearly cried.

It was so sweet and adorable that I don't even feel that post-series depression.

It wasn't platinum or oil. It was the meteorites that Su showed in season 3, their flexibility and etc. etc. for a metal bender supposedly made them the best tool for Kuvira.

I loved the ending. I seriously hope that in a few years we get another Avatar, born into the United Republic.

It was a good end. It definitely solidified season four as the second best (vying for best with the first season, of course) season. When Varrick proposed to Zhu Li though, I died. That is probably my favorite relationship.

I doubt Korra is actually bisexual or a lesbian. Given that this is probably the last fully animated Avatar series that will air on Nickelodeon, I wanna say that they said "pineapple it" and wanted to address some fans. (see also: link to queerbaiting above). Either way, her sexuality wouldn't have any substantial impact on Legend of Korra's story anyways, so I'm indifferent.

Bolin was amazing and he's definitely my fave on Team Avatar 2.0. Also, he's gotten so much better as a character compared to seasons one and two. Mako on the other hand.... stale as ever.

Overall I was pleased.

The definition for it itself doesn't really fit though.

The ending itself is a clear indication that it's possible, although intentionally left open-ended. I don't really see there having been any points to do such a thing to "gather viewers" either, considering none of this really started until Season 4, at most the VERY end of Season 3, at which point they already knew that Nick was fu'cking them over royally. They knew at that point that viewers weren't going to do the series any good. If anything, they did it because they wanted to.
