GameGuard Error

I'm getting GameGuard Error 153. I start the game and the window comes up talking about the new events as well as the new postings and whatnot. I click Play, and that error comes up. It says to run the GG setup - I can't find any. :/

Any suggestions outside of redownloading MS? I'm going to try it on my old computer and see if that works or not. Could downloads of an older version to another location affect the GG somehow?

It does not start the GG check which means it won't start patching or anything else as far as I can tell.

second: I have had this happen to me a few times. I'm not sure if its the same thing though. It happened to me when I hadn't shut my computer down in awhile. I restarted and it fixed everything. It acted like GG was already running, and then thought I was trying to hack or something.

Doesn't give me much to go off of, but yea. I ended up re-installing MS from a previous one (still had the install exe downloaded). It started working but said it was too old to patch. I downloaded v62 recently for a pserv, so I copied that over and am going to try that.

If you were a donator, Fiel would help you with that patch issue. He can create a patcher from your version to the current. (Pro Fiel)

Meh, no big deal. I just copied over my v62 files, deleted the pserv stuff, and patched from there. It worked.
