It can snow on Christmas day and then melt the following day. I'd be okay with that.

But actually winters here are like 14/55 degrees so snow is almost never an issue.

Was gonna comment something about how cold the weather was going to be when I got home, but I greatly overestimated how cold it actually is right now

Anyways, got my new mic and it's such an improvement over my last one, so I'm pretty stoked about that. Just two more finals left tomorrow and the day after, and I get to go home

In about a month I've gone from surprise sloppy drunk make-out at karaoke to very interesting relationship. Many firsts involved. It's delightful.

And I found two great wool sweaters at Salvation Army today. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

3 finals in 28 hours starting tomorrow. I think I've talked about this before but the limit is 3 in 24 hours to get one deferred. The fact this affects 60-98% of the people in these three classes does not seem like a coincidence to me. On the plus side, I'm going into two of them with over 80.

Done exams. I've got enough marks back now to have 50%s in everything, so I've technically finished college.

My last exam went really poorly though. First time I've ever not finished the coding for an exam in my entire college career.
Going out on such a low note has made me rather...I dunno...numb the entire day. I'm sure I'll find happiness at the bottom of one of these bottles eventually though.

Semester is officially over, relaxing and finishing up some projects in lab for another week or so then I'm headed home. Only one semester left and it can't be over sooner.

Apps were due the 1st for my Ph.D programs and I've yet to hear back from anywhere and my anxiety is absolutely through the roof. My PI and some grad student friends have been scoping out the admissions process here from the inside and it isn't helping me at all. All I want is to get an interview request then I can ease up, at the moment it's too stressful that I might not have a prospect at all.

Starting to plan a potential trip to California in the beginning of January!

Finished my wand and got myself a clean Meister Signet, which means i'm only left with the Meister Earstuds to finish up the set! Meister Arky ring set also done... Now to cube all of them.............. Wish I could afford a 3 set CRA though fml, but whatever, atleast I am now able to solo Easy magnus. Which is still sort of an achievement I guess lmao.

Quantum final was a lot easier than I was expecting.
Messed up on some linear algebra like a total dips'hit so I'll probably get in the 85~90 range. An A in the class is a 90 which is f'ucking annoying since every other physics class has had an A being above like an 80. An A in my E&M class is anything above a 70 for crying out loud (I have around an 88 lol).

Topology final in a few hours. Can bring a cheat sheet and textbook is really small so I essentially wrote down everything I could possible need. Should be a joke of a test.

Wrote a new draft of my Statement of Purpose for grad school apps. Really liking how it's turning out. I feel I have a good chance. Hoping to god everything I've done is enough to make the readers brush off my embarrassingly low GRE scores.

37/40 points on the project I absolutely hated for this semester.

My stepdad passed away yesterday. I am in this weird pool of emotions/nonemotions, but it tears me apart to see how devastated my mom is. I hate how far I am and how impossible it is for me to go out there.

First interview is official!!! I'll be interviewing incestuously first which will be awesome to alleviate the stress of the process and share it with good friends in the program.

My friend got less than me in all of our recent math quizzes/tests except for one test which he got 5% higher on. Yet he went up 4% in his total average while I went up 2%. IDK

On the bright side I got Omega Ruby and relationship going well. Deciding whether to get my girlfriend a bracelet or necklace for christmas

Work at the family business is pretty cool, shame I can't speak fluently enough in mandarin or cantonese to make the most out of it zzz. All the optometrists are super nice and interesting to talk to too :o

Fucking awful days. Wednesday I left my umbrella thinking that it hadn't rained in a couple days and as soon as my shift was over it started raining like hell. I thought I was catching a cold again with all the sneezing and pomegranate. I wake up the other day feeling like crap, fever not that high but still fever and then this stomach pain that was unbearable. Missed work, went to the doctor and I was given 3 days off to take care of myself. Sundays are off so it's 4 days without doing nothing and I'm going insane.

Additionally, this morning my cat was clumsy and fell on my face and scratched me next to the eye, like where the eye ends...she scratched me there. And I'm bored, sick and hurt and I wish there was something to do.

As great as it is to be home after 3 and a half months of living in dorm, I'm actually already kinda getting bored here, gonna try to meet up with some friends from high school as soon as they start coming home.

Can't complain about the food though, missed my mother's cooking a ton, infinitely better than anything I could make.
