Got a new webcam (old one was beyond terrible) so I thought why not post in here for the first time?

Been spending the entire week helping to get this charity event--Hope for Christmas--fully set up, since it actually takes place tomorrow and they still had a lot to get done and were short-handed. On an offbeat comment in conversation, one of the directors mentioned that they were really short on toys/gifts for both boys and girls, ages 9 to 16... so today I went out and bought $300 worth of stuff--a mix of boys stuff, girls stuff, and unisex things--and dropped it off afterwards. I hope that it helps to give the underprivileged kids the Christmas they deserve.

Before I did, though, I decided to make a pool out of the toys on my bed and lay in them, as I would never likely get the chance again, and took this pic, haha.

It's legitimately so crazy/heartwarming to look back at older pages of this thread and then jump to the last few pages and see how people have changed. My conclusion? Not a whole lot (ha!) but without exception, everyone looks older and more mature. And people are meeting each other and all! Awesome.

...It's too bad whatever photos I had posted early (and the one on the OP) are no longer there, but I got da goods now.

It's legitimately so crazy/heartwarming to look back at older pages of this thread and then jump to the last few pages and see how people have changed. My conclusion? Not a whole lot (ha!) but without exception, everyone looks older and more mature. And people are meeting each other and all! Awesome.

I would definitely say not too shabby in the genetic lottery. They got more-or-less all of the good stuff about us and not much of the bad (although I guess that's still subjective). Thank you!

Fresh out of both, here's a potato instead She does have a younger single-mom sister though who is just as cute, also with beeyootiful churren.
