How exactly was it selective? I asked you a direct question, were you in the pokemon X/Y chat, you said you were in it for awhile. You then claimed you were never in a pokemon chat, and you left because you said the designs sucked. The only problem here is you articulating your thoughts, evidently.

Hi all, creator of ChatChief here. I noticed a thread was posted about it yesterday.
I would just like to clear up the fact that I didn't make the site with the intention of it being 'anti-basilmarket'.
I created it because I didn't like the way that basil is managed. Some rules are unnecessary, and the owner was neglecting the site overall.
It is also missing functionality which could be implemented but the owner refuses to do so.
Again, I have/had no plans of making it a site 'dedicated to hating/plans to overthrow basilmarket', part of the community (as of now) are those who have had a bad experience with the site, and are venting.
If need be i'd be happy to implement a no-bashing-other-sites rule, but as of now it seems pretty contained in that one thread.

I really put a lot of effort into the site, but I noticed some of you don't like the design/colors. I would really appreciate any constructive criticism, as it is only in beta and i'm happy to change anything.
Also, regarding the name; it's nearing the end of 2014. The internet has been out for well over 20 years now, I really found it difficult coming up with one and chose it with the idea that it could stray away from maple if needed in the future.
