Mesos would be devalued to the point where we'd be using a barter system. God no.

just imagine, within an hour, the FM being cleaned out. Too many people getting maxed mesos, rendering it worthless. Oh man, this would be horrible..

Person1: Ill give you 2b for that lvl 50 armor set~
person2: Sorry, already maxed meso..
Person1: Oh...

Actually, everyone having max mesos would be kindof nice - buying potions would be no problem, merchants would be screwed, and everyone would be on a relatively even playing field item wise. Bartering, for someone like me who hunts for items, would be much appreciated over the current buy low, sell high, repeat, repeat, repeat, finally buy what you want system. Nothing would get NPC'd, meaning rare but unwanted items would be more prevalent in the markets (or just dropped). Scrolling would definitely be interesting though...

That'd be true, if it weren't for the Gachapon. But you'd definitely see people turning towards the mts more than before.

Right, and then gach'ing with the profits more than likely. At any rate, it would be nice to see merchants have to work for their money instead of just sniping cheap items from people that may actually use them (people hoarding scrolls instead of those who want to use them buying them). That kind of greed has always pissed me off.

"Hey, look! That Pickpocket is hacking!"

Wow, NEXON seriously fails. I'd love to see a mistake like this on our servers, though. It would be interesting.

We use money in the real world because bartering makes it much harder to buy and sell items. Money acts as a middle man to slightly reduce the amount we make but speed up the efficiency of transactions. I'd much rather be able to sell my goods off for money with which to purchase items than to barter.

People are going to be able to merchant wherever there are going to be people who are willing to sell lower than others are willing to pay. You can still merchant under a bartering system. Maxing mesos doesn't screw over merchants, it screws over ordinary players.

Potions should represent a signifcant cost to your expenses. They are supposed to be the biggest sink to your mesos to keep inflation from getting out of hand. They should be an incentive to actually freeze/stun monsters, and to train in places where you don't take constant damage just to blast as many monsters as possible.

The item playing field would be more level, but for the fact that Gachapon is the only source of many of the most wanted items in the game. This basically forces people to Gach to make money quickly.
