How was your day?

Honestly I'm giong to disagree, it was insensitive but it certainly gave closure as to why it couldn't continue. If it was the usual "iffy" dodge explanation of "we're just not for eachother" I'm sure you'd have a lot more trouble accepting it, as if you can fix it. He gave you an unfixable problem, that is based off preference, so I wouldn't see it as him sh`itting all over you but giving you that direct closure so you CAN move on.

My interview on Friday went amazingly! I interviewed with everyone that I thought I would, my ceramics professor, sculpture professor, the head of the art department, the other person in the same position, and the admin assistant for the department. It was a pretty straightforward interview, but they asked that I draw up a design for a bench that would potentially be built for the gallery space, and provide an estimated cost for it. Today, they sent an email requesting a release form to be signed in order to contact my references, so I take that as a good sign

Not sure if I said this on here but my job is offering a program where they pay entirely for your college, classes, books, even the gas, to even being able to leave an hour early and not reflect it on your timesheet. Essentially it guarantees a business management certificate which is pretty basic but also half the credits necessary for an accounting B/A degree. The classes are tailored around my job too, so they know what information pertains to us, rather than irrelevant sh`it. They also offer free 20 hours worth of tutoring per semester and they will not ask you to compensate unless you literally fail the class, it has no mandatory grade average, the deal is ridiculous lol.

Anyway I interviewed for it and boy was that a trainwreck. Normally I have the silver tongue of the devil but the guy interviewing (the director ffs) screwed me up so bad. Though to disappoint the people waiting to hear a tragic story where I was put in my place, it was actually the opposite. We had to provide an essay, a letter of recommendation, and proof of registration at the college, unfortunately the first question the director had for me was "So did you provide an essay, or proof of registration", which I emailed like two frekin weeks ago. I explained that, and he just simply said he didnt have it and to continue the interview, which was my work history. By that point my brain just went into chaos, articulate a sentence, it was like screwing up the start in a mario kart race.

Not even 2 minutes into the conversation he interrupts me and says "...Oh, I had the wrong file opened" and there sat ALL MY SH`IT. All of a sudden it was like L, Kira and Lelouche invaded me simultaneously. So by the end of it, the interview completely 360'd, they were stressing how /I/ needed to take this program because it's such a great opportunity. At one point I just said "So how do you want me to beg", it felt like they were more of a marketing team trying to sell me a product rather than interviewing me.

So with all that said, the program starts today, and I'm completely unfamiliar with the area. I think that's all I'm nervous about genuinely lol

Spent half the day fighting with Android Dev Studio, so I wasn't able to get much (any) work on a project done.

I later endured a rant about how my personal opinions regarding my tastes and preferences in videogames are always objectively wrong because they aren't the same as the person who was delivering the rant.

We bought tickets for the new hunger games movie for Thursday, and tomorrow we're going out for lunch and hanging out afterwards on a boardwalk. He stopped by my job and brought me food which was really sweet. He hung around for a bit then left. He also is an amazing kisser and his lips are to die for. Just sayin.

I've honestly never been more glad that Christmas break is approaching, being overloaded with work (which I realize is typical). Just neeeeed a breaaaaaaaaaaaaak.
