@Haishiro: I'm at the beginning of the Earth Dungeon in St Lamia and the end of Light Dungeon in Cordelica. Aside from Faris (59) and Dean (36), everything is lv 1-15. I'm gonna level Elza to 50+ tomorrow with my metal parade key and see if she helps much. What tends to happen is I'll get through the first several levels then get a chunk of my team wiped out at mini boss/end boss. Usually from AOE spam. I think I'll start doing better when/if I get a better healer. Faris and Phoenix help alot with sustain, but some good burst healing would be great.

Ah that makes sense, since you basically have no multi-target (MT) BB. Dean doesn't count; he's pretty underwhelming. If you get Elza and possibly one more unit with MTBB and decent hit count, things should get a lot easier, at least in questing.

I've got 4* Il & Mina, Darvan, and Signas with MT, but I've been replacing one or two per dungeon due to elemental weakness lately. Is it be more effective to use them for HC/BC drops instead of using Phoenix BB for 3 turn gradual healing?

IDK, it's never consistent through a dungeon. Sometimes I can breeze through, other times I encounter rare units that spam AOE twice a turn. I'm tempted farm some fusion fodder on earlier levels since I have more than enough gold to evolve the units I intend to. Some of these mobs just shred through the 3k HP 1k Def that the majority of my units have.

^ Ditch Phoenix and farm a free healer (Claris/Amy). You lose a bit on damage but their burst heal is better. They're also easy to evolve and easy to max their BB. Also, creating Gilded Pearl spheres may help you survive. Typically they're only equipped on healers early game, but equipping 2 or 3 of your more fragile units with those spheres until you get your hands on >10% HP spheres might be worth it.

Elemental weakness does matter when your units are underlevelled, so do replace units that are weak to the dungeon's primary element. HP drops won't help you much if you don't have units with high hit counts, a single burst healer will work better. Aaand use Elza/Faris as leaders, that will make it easier to fill your healer's BB up.


Also, I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but I'd save my gems for the next rate up which will probably be Ulkina's batch. Summon when Narza's rates are up, since you'll need damage mitigation sooner or later. Every single unit in that batch are pretty good too, and two of them are healers so summoning then is very much worth it.

edit: scratch the gilded pearl thing. I forgot that by then you can craft 10% HP spheres, so Gilded Pearl for free healer and HP for other units.

when you get to cordicilas tower of light the fights there are heavy AoE so weaker units will die fast unless you can kill them first

So....yeah....Grah. I'm planning out when to fight this guy and then prepare for GGC. That being said, I do need to know if this setup is right:

-Lilly Matah (leader)
-Zephyr
-Lodin
-Exvehl /Lunaris (depends)
-Nalmika/Rowgen (Nalmika if I want to fight him sometime soon)

Note: Lilly only has bb Lv 3 and I am still bb leveling her while doing quests. Lodin on the other hand has SBB lv 10 (don't ask me why I maxed out Lodin instead of Lilly....should of thought about my choices earlier before doing that.... >.> ). Everyone else only has bb. Also, if for some reason I get Lunaris to get her SBB (I.e. I somehow get a lot of froggies later this week and I hope I do from honor summon), I might replace Exvehl out with her but I know Exvehl is better with status removal since it's instant after using it compared to Lunaris. Maybe I'll switch Zephyr out since Lunaris has a better atk/def right now. Nalmika seems viable to do some kind of status but Rowgen is just a better choice. I haven't leveled him up yet but considering the damage and easy spark bonus, he seems better in a damage stand point.

You should add me I have units that could help you. Also you should be able to just nuke down Grah as long as you guard at the right %.

Just run 1 healer(and a stat resistor, or Altri if you have him). And the rest DPS and yer gud.

You look overprepared. Basically what Derosis said is fine for Grah.

I can swap out to a Darvanshel or Ronel or Grah lead if you do need it, though. Maxwell's not that great of a leader for Grah, unless you're looking to OHKO.

You should get a Grah friend because his LS helps a lot. If you don't have an anti debuffer, use a status nullifying lead (Ronel, Twins, etc)

I could have 1 teamed grah with 2 breaker kiks 5* 1 6* mag 1 gx-II breaker not fully leveled 6* tree and grah ally

But i said fk it after my kik died a 2nd time at about 40% and STILL got him to do his last ditch atk at 1%

Got Elza to 60 today and got the pots and idols needed to evolve her and Faris. I should be be able to evolve Signas and Phoenix as well provided I level them to 60. Hopefully the dragon mimic and totem dungeons are doable for me. I've been getting through the quest dungeons a bit easier now. I think it's just a wonky difficulty curve rather than the levelling of units, though.

Anyone know when the next batch of summons will be available? Do they usually do the guaranteed 4* or better thing? If not, I'm tempted to summon now.

Is it worth doing frontier hunter now, or is it endgame stuff?

Frontier hunter comes every now and then, and has a set of rewards with it. Its best to do it everytime it comes to get all the rewards and also rank up (fh rankings). Its quite difficult for new comers / not-that-gem-heavy players though imo

It's usually always worth doing FH. Especially starting out since it gives zel / karma even if you don't succeeed
