Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire announced

If we don't get a mega flygon then nintendo doesn't know their fans enough.

I thought milotic and flygon were guarenteed megas, and Milotic even moreso seeing as milotic to wallace is like metagross to steven. At least I think so, been a pretty long time since I've played that game.

And on the mega evolution list, I highly doubt that these are all the megas, seeing what happened with mega diancie and the eon twins. Mega latios and latias were both found by some hacking pomegranate or something, but iirc mega diancie, hoopa and the fire thing managed to stay hidden, right?

There could be a bunch of unannounced in game and event megas. Nintendo pls

With XY, not all the megas were revealed before the game came out(either early like Charizard X or after, like Houndoom I think), I say we still have a good chance at hidden megas.

Damn. I have a pretty heavy feeling we won't be getting more megas if CoroCoro is releasing that poster.

I do too. But also at this point, It's unfair if certain Pokemon get megas and others don't.

So there's been reports about someone getting the game early. Apparently he might release more information on 4chan on Friday, but now, here's the one and only picture he released publicly (released some privately to a Youtuber and some r/Pokemon mods). The screenshot really doesn't spoiler anything, but I'm wrapping it in spoiler tags just in case.

Eeeh, would have been more believable if they had taken a picture outside in the city of Mauville, since it's something we haven't seen yet. God knows why they thought a picture of inside a pokemon centre would get people to believe them.

Kinda wish people wouldn't do that, but that's like wishing for people to be rational on the internet.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This first images showcases many of the legends available throughout the game including revealing that Deoxys who will be available through a special mission called “Episode Delta.”. It also reveals a character who is called Higana who will be paramount to the plot line. She travels with a Whismur and has Salamence when you battle her.

Also this image with whom I call a "bass from megaman made a girl" shows Steven on the left and Wallace on the right. This comfirms Wallace to be of some importance, other than gym leader, which in addition to Steven shown roaming around confirms that Wallace is the champion, and that means we're following some sort of ruby/saphire/emerald fusion, which also confirms mega milotic (wallace's main peach) and battle frontier.

(Using the word "confirm" really lightly here, but it's all pointing towards that area right? RIGHT?)

However seeing as Steven is shown on the left with the Omega Ruby title, and Wallace on the right with the Alpha Sapphire title, this could also confirm that the champion and the roamer changes depending on the game, Steven being champion in ruby and Wallace being champion in sapphire, etc. I doubt this one though seeing as we get a free shiny beldum with mega stone though, but it crossed my mind.

I'd imagine that "Episode Delta" will be available through a wifi event (or god forbid another serial code event). As cool as it would be having Deoxys available in post-game content, I really doubt they would.

I had a "What" moment at Diancie wielding a sword.

There is something that I found extremely funny about "MEGA SPEAR".
Had no idea the Japanese name for Beedrill was so...plain.

Something odd I noticed while looking at the E-shop:

Notice the pokemon shown in the banner.
Ignoring Pikachu, who is obviously there because it is the mascot, Audino and Lopunny are the most obviously strange, since they aren't Gen 3 pokemon, it stands to reason that they are there because they have new mega evolutions.
Now look at the other pokemon, who are all Gen 3 pokemon, yeah, but the choices are interesting.

Bagon, Shellgon and Salamence obviously now have Mega Salamence in their line.
Metang also obviously has ties to the new Mega Metagross
Altaria too
the Treecko, Mudkip and Torchic lines are also represented, who also have mega evolutions
and so do Groudon and Kyogre.

So the inclusion of Flygon, Feebas, Milotic and Makuhita seem strange. Until you consider that Milotic was shown frequently in trailers for mega evolutions, and Hariyama shows up inexplicably among the fully evolved starters in the big boss fights in the demo.
Can't remember if Flygon showed up in trailers but it probably did.

It probably means nothing, but it's.. interesting.
