I guess blatantly cheating in a video game is ok if you use a little girl's avatar to do it. Seriously though, having Yui give away all the tells without learning them on their own, these guys are pretty pomegranate at video games.

Dataminer is an understatement, it's one thing to datamine, it's another to get monster attack patterns from a dungeon nobody else has ever done or even heard of.

Yes, thus, they are cheaters, and they suck at video games.

I was very happy with Grisaia no Kajitsu up until episode 4. If 5 is just as bad then this anime is dead to me (and probably almost everyone else who read the visual novel).

I think that's a bit extreme but alright.

HOLY JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I WANT TO ADOPT NOEL YESTERDAY, the other episodes haven't exactly been free of drama but this one really hit me like a truck, especially the ending.

These last 3 episodes of sword art online are what the whole series should have been like.
As for Yui, you can see her as one heck of a reward for one of the rarest quest ever, saving then taming an NPC. Put that way her tremendous help could be accepted? she also stopped giving advice when Thrym's attack patterms changed so maybe she, like the rest of the guys has to see the boss attacks before she can start warning everyone?

I felt the exact opposite, it reminded me of LH except worse in every way. If I wanted to watch LH I would watch LH. Which I do. SAOs only selling point is drama, and this arc had none of that. It's kind of silly to base your entire series on drama and not a real engaging story, anyway, but at least there was enough substance to watch it with that, if only barely.

At least there were no arbitrary rape attempts as a shortcut to create drama and tension. That's a nice change of pace for SAO.

What I mean is, SAO should have been about this from the start, life in a video game with drama based on videogame situations. Like "we need to get better gear to fight this floor's boss and get to the next level, lets go collect materials" and stuff like that. The first part of SAO1 had some balance between the two and it was good foor that, but from ALO onwards It decided to center mainly on drama leaving the game aspects in a second or even third place. Had it been like this from the start you'd be saying it is LH that's trying to be like SAO.
(Seems like about time I get into watching LH btw)

LH's author puts WAY too much into his story for it to be a copy of anything, he has posted BOOKS of data on all of the classes, subclasses, artifact items, characters both main and background, all of the areas of all of the regions of the world, everything. SAO just kind of feels like the author is thinking, "hey, this sounds good, lets add this now and fact check for consistency then retcon or rewrite segments later". LH's mangaka is acting like Oda would if One Piece were a smaller scale manga; I think Oda would like to go as indepth but simply doesn't have enough hours in the day to do so based on the sheer scale of what his work has become, he's already putting himself in the hospital at times because he's overworking himself, and I have a feeling before much longer LH's writer is going to be in that situation as well, if he keeps expanding while still going into insane detail on everything.

If you like Log Horizon you should check out Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. It's by the same person. Needs more seasons q_q

MMY was a bad adaption imho, manga is a far better adaption of the source material.

Gundam Build Fighters Try Episode 5
Is it terrible that I'm enjoying this way more than Reconguista? The fights, music, and shameless mecha fanservice are just as good as in the first season. New cast is pretty likeable so far.
They suddenly changed Ramba Ral's voice actor in this episode O.o
Also, DAT STARGAZER, hope it shows up again in a future episode. As much as I rag on the show, I am looking forward to seeing how that Destiny Gundam will turn out.
Cross Ange Episode 5
Oh Fukuda *shakes head* And suddenly, a wild Tusk Jesus Yamato appears for a piece of the action... How many episodes till he steals MC position from Ange?
Unlimited Blade Works
I'm liking how they include a few Fate Zero references in it as well.
