Ushinawareta Wareta Mirai wo Motomete: Ending was a little shocking, but can't say I didn't expect something of that calibre. Of course, she'll be back next episode so we'll just have to wait and see as to how this one progresses. I have somewhat high hopes for this one.

How the pineapple does that happen. Anyway, I hate this type of show, kiminozo is right in the recommendations for similar shows, and that is hands down my most hated show by a near infinite margin. This one even reminded me of it a bit, and that's a bad thing.

I guess it was worth the wait; I'm going to continue watching it for now at least. As the previews entailed, it is a bit more fanservicey than kyoani usually does.

nanatsu no taizai
Well, I liked it. I didn't expect that to happen at all, either.

World Trigger: This was pretty damn meh for a first episode, it really needs to step up. Also the animation budget seems to be like 5 dollars.

Vanadis: This seemed like it had a lot of potential, i'm really looking forward to seeing what direction this takes.

Grisaia: Heard a lot of things about it but never actually read the VN, the first episode was amusing enough so i am definitely looking forward to where it's gonna go and how it's gonna handle adapting a VN with multiple routes.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Damn this was a great first episode, i'm really looking forward to more from this series even though i have zero interest in the card game. I wonder if they blew all their money on the first episode or if it's gonna remain that good.

Amagi Brilliant Park: This seemed a bit eh, animation was nice though and the premise seemed like it could be fun. But it just screams generic harem incoming, i hope i'm wrong though. For a second there at the start i also got my hopes up and thought we'd get a series with a yandere, oh well.

Garo: This one took me by surprise, this was a GREAT first episode and i didn't even expect much from this adaption. The opening was also amazing and the CGI was also pretty well done. I really like the armor design and the first episode did a great job with setting the mood/theme.

Chaika season 2: More chaika, no other real comments regarding this. Enjoying it as much as i did season 1.

Parasyte: They seem to have modernized the setting which is probably a good idea but i do hope they don't mess it up in the process. The first episode was pretty well animated outside of some weird ass CG students and the random ass dubstep threw me off too. Looking forward to more!

Other series i haven't managed to watch episode 1 of yet or they simply haven't begun airing yet but i plan on watching: Sanzoku no musume Ronja, Akatsuki no Yona, Nanatsu no Taizai, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Psycho-Pass 2 and Trinity Seven

This is a pineappleing amazing season by the way, haven't wanted to watch this many shows at the same time in quite some time.

Build Fighters Try > GinR

the problem about GinR is that its trying to be funny occasionally when it really isn't. At the same time, it's trying to be serious but no real serious vibe comes from it(compared to the rest of the main Universal Century anime/manga(MSG, Zeta, ZZ, CCA, Unicorn, Crossbone, Victory). All but ZZ generally started off at more serious tones, while ZZ being the odd one out tried to make the beginning more of a comedy. GinR is attempting to put itself in the middle of both and it's not working. I mean hell, episode 3 ends with

So it is because I haven't seen other Gundams? Then good for me, I guess. The final scene was certainly weird (though I did like the one where the toilet was introduced, and it actually seems really convenient), but I don't have any problem with the tone in general. I actually like it. It will have to change as the plot progresses, though.


World Trigger 2: Is Toei run by monkeys or what? Why the pineapple is there no ED? They could get rid of those stupid pauses all over the episode. I dropped the One Piece anime because of this exact problem. Seriously, 10 minutes for one freaking page. Toei shouldn't be allowed anywhere near any manga ever again.

Unlimited Blade Works: Now that's how you do an adaptation.

Log Horizon 2 02: DATABASE WOW WOW
Pretty cool episode. tfw demiglace has a waifu. Poor Akatsuki. Hope she gets a nice weapon.

Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete 02: The animation quality dropped so pineappleing hard, it's unimaginable how much worse it could get. It's also amazing how absolutely pineappleing nothing happened either, and they could make this episode look so bad. I guess they blew their budget on that first episode's 'fight scenes'. Though ep 1 had some weird bits to its quality that seemed abnormally high.

Fate Stay Night - Unlimited Blade Works 01: These fight scenes are so amazing. Those swings from Saber's sword. DAT GAE BOLG

PSYCHO-PASS 2 01: I really hate Mika. New enforcers seem awful. Redhead hopefully dies quick. But he's got the same VA as Makishima from S1, so... WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THAT. That new villain. That rape. Truly, the face of evil.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis 02: A bit disappointed with the pacing in the episode, but I guess that means we get a pomegranateton of action next week. HOLY pomegranate THAT CATCH.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso 01: Holy pomegranate, they actually animated the instruments. The quality here was really high. Looks interesting. Hopefully, there's not too much angst in this love polygon.

Parasyte 01: DROP THAT SICK BASS. Really cool so far. Very impressed with the way this was done.

selector spread WIXOSS 02: That Ulith mindbreaking Akira. Oh boy.

Shirobako 01: It's amazing how so many people think that a series is completed before it even airs. 2 cours of this? A bit scared how much drama they can pump in.

Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu. 01: This was fantastic except for the terrible fact that I watched Commie's subs. Oh God. Why. It just hurts my brain. Really hope they bring the other two on board quickly, and childhood friend doesn't lose.

Amagi Brilliant Park 02: I hope this series steps it up a bit. Pace is a bit slow. The fact that he can only use his power once per person is so dull. Just imagine the countless possibilities of pleasing a single person a single time at an amusement park. Golly gee.

Hitsugi no Chaika - Avenging Battle 01: Honestly. I don't even know why I'm here.

Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai 01: Remarkably boring. After seeing what others shows Hoods Entertainment has done, I have no expectations.

Trinity Seven 01: This is teetering on the edge. Could be good. More likely it'll be mediocre. Can't possibly be as bad as Mahou Sensou. Levi hnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Inou Battle wa Nichijou-keo no Naka de 01: I quite liked this. Tomoyo is so in my strike zone. Their powers are fun and overpowered as pomegranate, hopefully that doesn't ruin everything. That being said, all I see when Chifuyu shows up is Hasegawa Kobato. Disappointed the other girl isn't part of the main cast.


Some more things:

World Trigger 02: Surprisingly, the animation quality got slightly better. But that's probably because it couldn't have gotten worse without turning into a Picture Drama. It's probably because there's no Sailor Moon Crystal this week. Anyways. The expectation was this was going to be some sort of actiony combat fight thing. It's a comedy. I did like the leg breaking scene, though it took them forever to get through all the awkward pauses.

Cross Ange 02: A rape each episode. Gr8b8m8. Her character really pisses me off. Maybe she'll pineappleing learn something after what just happened. Not. Seriously hope she grows soon. If all I wanted was rape, misogyny, and yuri, I'd go rewatch Freezing.

Grisaia no Kajitsu 02: Rather slow episode after what episode 1 left off on. I was hoping something more interesting would happen. It really feels VN in here, so I guess they're adapting it well, but this pace seems too slow to adapt well in so few episodes.

Gugure! Kokkuri-san 02: Smiling story was great.

Female inugami was almost enough, but I'm not sure if I can keep this going. Maybe if she makes friends with that other girl soon...

Sora no Method 02: This is why I pineappleing hate kids. I thought I could escape from that here in the world of 2D where they're adorable, but holy pineapple was that annoying.

Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji 02: HE ABUSED ME SO HARD. SWOON.

Girlfriend Beta 01: It doesn't get much more mundane than this. I'm assuming it's following characters from the game around their every day life to fluff up their character and personality. Was not a big fan of Chloe's speech pattern, and I don't look forward to it if she gets an exclusive episode. Looking at the cast listing, my favourite shown in this episode (Harumiya Tsugumi, track girl VA Takagaki Ayahi) is supporting =[ They have an insane list of characters and VAs to back them up though.

I've always liked the broken JP speaking girls, but for some reason I especially like Chloe. As said above though, pretty mundane otherwise.

So I read some of the original content and he molests that poor girl just about the whole series; her reactions are always great, especially once she is used to it.

It's pretty obvious they weren't joking when they stated in the first episode that Holy Knights are each capable of destroying entire countries, but, it's equally obvious that Meliodas is probably capable of a lot more than that, those scenes at the end of the episode were so over the top it was almost silly, but it was still enjoyable to watch.

Bah, Funi has a lot of good shows but I've been consuming most of mine in bed on the crunchyroll app. Parasyte and Ordinary Super stuff have a strong hold on my attention. Database is love, database is life. Still another 6ish shows to sample.

Trinity Seven could've tried a little harder to be a less blatant dating sim/eroge adaptation. Also could have tried to name drop that pomegranate-tier title less. A Trinity is three, come on.

I always manage to forget that many of you have pomegranate taste in anime (because me and everyone else in the world has pomegranate taste in anime). Half your glowing reviews are going to be for slice of life and cute girls shitting the bed shows that I'll think are trash. But I watch a few episodes of them anyway. What am I doing with my life.

SAO 2 15: Klein has embraced his place in the harem.

Log Horizon 2 3: The idea of being the first ones to fight and to figure out the strategy for a boss is so cool. Too bad I've never been at that level in a game.

World trigger is so damn slow for the anime.... 3 episodes for 5 chapters really ._.
I read up to the recent translations in the manga and it doesn't disappoint, but.... will the anime ever reach that part....

Log Horizon 2 4:So much angst. The buildup to the end of the episode was nice though.

Fate/Stay Night UBW was simply epic.
