I haven't laughed so much since well... yesterday. Seriously, I'm starting to think that the main reason why this thing has gone on for so long is because of these incompetent idiots. And I love it.

At this point it's just funny to keep watching, it already is an unequivocal win, and the longer it goes the more damage they do to themselves. I think they are starting to realize it but are too stupid to figure out how to quit while they are behind.

It makes no sense, unless they are trying to appeal to the extremists which still makes no sense since a business is about selling stuff to everyone.

I'm figuring that their plan is as such:

Even if this blows up in their faces, when this is all over, most people will forget that this ever was a thing. Even if they boycott dell, it wont last. But what will last is the thought of dell. Somewhere along the lines of "there's no such thing as bad publicity?"

I'll note again that this is just a possibility, I'm not claiming this to be there actual reason. I'm also not claiming that this would be a GOOD reason to do what it is they did.

I feel like people exaggerated his point, he was trying to say that by silencing peoples opinions, even if well liked is a bad move. The context he was missing was the opinion was more of a spiteful smear campaign, rather than the opinion on feminism and such. I made sure to make him aware on twitter, he was quick to respond to say that wasn't his point but when I elaborated he didn't respond, so I feel he's aware of it but trying to stand is ground. He really is in a very bad position though, so I can respect his basically forced neutral perspective

Did you even bother to do a lick of research before leaping that far? Look at the past few pages and you'll see that ad campaigns are voluntarily withdrawing from these game journalism sites because the issue is that serious to them. That means these are blows that are realistically hurting their wallets, which are probably the only things they care about anymore.
