So I unlocked Lucina at 69 matches, since ROB was unlocked right after.

Edit: Nope I am wrong, 76 Versus Matches total, so at 74/75. :'(

Has anyone run into any retarded scenarios when playing Intensity 9.0?

Last night, I started up Classic 9.0 as Link. The first match pit me against Lucina, 1v1. Cool. I could take a level 9 1v1 easily. Nope. Match starts, I run at her and press A to do Link's new jumping attack and she uses her counter. It did 40% damage and knocked me off the map... I was on the opposite side of the map, god damn it. How could that even be possible? I just put my 3DS down for the night after that. >_>

master core at level 9.0 is all kinds of retarded, gonna be a pain to learn his moveset.

i haven't had any truly retarded scenarios, but i did sweat a bit when i got "TEAM BOWSER" as an enemy. my bane however is the 2vs2, since the computer one gets as a partner is an idiot and gets its ass kicked in the first half minute.

also i had a stroke when against giant villager. he grabbed a giant mushroom and decided to use the bowling ball attack, i felt like i was playing majora again when i saw that crap

Two trends I've noticed a lot while playing online...

People tend to taunt a lot, like even when they are losing terribly and manage to get a lucky kill they still taunt. Might be normal but I'm not used to it.

When someone loses a match, they tend to choose Little Mac for the next game.

Yeah I've noticed the little mac thing a lot too, but funny enough they still get their ass handed to them. >_> Hell, they even tend to SD a lot more while using him.

Only character I'm missing now is R.O.B. The consensus is that he's unlocked at 200 Trophies.

I got ROB before I even got bowser Jr or Game and Watch. I didn't even have 100 trophies. Just keep doing classic mode, smash run, or versus matches. There really isn't that much rhyme or reason for the character unlocks from what I can tell.

I got ROB unlocked by beating Classic Mode with Game and Watch at Intensity 6.0.

It could have been a coincidence and lined up with something else, but I doubt there's only one way to unlock characters. It would explain all the different reasons people have noticed for why characters get unlocked.

I swear Little Mac is this game's Ike. Everyone's so eager to use him because he has a lot of damage and knockback, but after awhile, I wager barely anyone will use him.

Oddly enough, I enjoy using Ike to beat Little Macs :/

I can confirm after getting the achievement for 200 trophies, followed with doing Classic with Dr Mario that Rob was unlocked.

I hate this. I really do. I had several matches where my ally literally walked off the side of the map. He didn't even attack. He just killed himself. Instant 2v1.

i have two lives, as long as they hit someone else with it i'm fine.

just now though, was playing classic 9 and got a team with lucina-sonic as rivals in greenhill. i don't even know what they did but my ally was sweeped from where he started, all the way up the ramp, to the left, and dead, all in the initial five seconds.

then i got anally devastated by those two.

I've unlocked Ness

I got ROB after doing a Smash Run with Jigglypuff. Coincidentally, I had reached 200 trophies almost immediately before that.

I have no idea how to deal with Little Mac as Dark Pit. I can't seem to knock him off before he gets me into a position where I can't get back onto the stage. If I dodge his side or up smashes he just runs to where I landed and whacks me off the stage again.

Don't play Dark Pit myself but they like to use the same dash attack a lot so I shield them and hope to grab or something (near the edge). Throw him upward or off the level if he has high %. When he has the KO punch, run away and hope it wears off...

The classic Kirby swallow and jumping off probably works too :p

Knocking Little Mac off the edge is usually a K.O since he has terrible recovery. Just stay far away from him and chip away with projectiles then grab and toss him off.
