This game suddenly got ridiculously hard on the Ocarina of Time levels.

I'm supposed to defend 2 keeps simultaneously while also also defending the main base on the other side of the map which has been completely overrun. Even if you defeat the tough enemies there (which takes ages) the keeps HP doesn't replenish, and while you are defending that, the 2 other bases are taken which then proceed to damage the main base even more. It reached the point where completing the objective is impossible.

It's really confusing when you have 3 or 4 objectives going at once, some of which are timed and some of which aren't, you can't tell, and it's hard to tell which are more important.

I suppose maybe I should have taken some of the other keeps first so that there are less monsters, hmm.

tbh its just really confusing to me in general.

First level its like Help Impa at the same time as telling me all these different bases are going down and then its like omg help zelda !! but the doors are blocked off?? IM NOT 3 PEOPLE AT ONCE GAME.

Also i looked everywhere in the web bit for the skullita thingy and couldnt even see it..

I just gave this a try and its a lot better than I thought it would be. xD

Did the first 3 scenarios and messed with adventure mode a bit. I really like how it makes you prioritise. It looked mindless in trailers but you actually have to think about where you attack or who to save etc.

So far my favourite warriors to fight with are Link and Lana. This list will probably grow as I unlock more!

Lana is incredibly fun to play as. Her starting weapon, the magic book or whatever its called seems pretty unimpressive at first until you start upgrading her combos. My favourite combo as her is B, B, Y which throws out lightning bolts in a straight line. When you get the upgraded combo pressing Y again makes a barrier appear, and pressing Y again makes the barrier electrified and draws in enemies. Then you can use Y to dash into the barrier and cause a massive explosion killing everything. It's a very impressive combo.

Sheik has a very interesting playstyle which is a lot deeper than it looks at first. each combo gives Sheik a buff icon in the top left corner. Pressing Y on it's own will cast a different spell depending on the buff you have active.
B, Y is Water, which gives you a shield that lowers damage and lasts for a long time
B x2, Y is Fire, which creates a pentagram on the ground that explodes
B x3, Y is Thunder which is my favourite. It plays the song of storms and surrounds Sheik in electricity that damages and knocks back any enemy that comes close.
B x4, Y is Shadow which causes a pulse to appear which sucks in enemies and pushes them out again.

I'm not sure if she has any more combos after that, but yeah, Sheik is a very strong character.

Fi too is absolutely crazy. She has amazing mobbing potential. her only drawback is that her attacks get interrupted very, very easily. She's very strong, I beat Ghirahim and 3 very strong elite mobs at the same time with her attacks.

Impa is so much fun with the Giant's Knife, and very very strong.
I've unlocked the Naginata weapon for her but haven't used it yet. I also haven't played as Midna or Darunia yet despite unlocking them.

I am absolutely in love with this game so far. I haven't even scratched the surface of unlocking all the weapons and artwork and heart containers and badges and even unlocking characters.

(by the way, I say "press B" but it's either B or A depending on which control scheme you chose (Warriors or Zelda). Zelda is "B button to Attack" because that is what it is mapped to in most Zelda games)

if you want to know warriors slang, its just called charge. e.g charge is just y. charge 2 is B Y, Charge 3 is BBY. its short hand Abreviated C# for the sake of short hand typing

Picking my copy up tomorrow, sadly gotta put ToX2 on the back burner for a good while.

Im getting mine via Amazon, I wanted those Twilight Princess costumes. Thankfully I have prime so I'm getting it tomorrow anyway. I just have to deal with my shift at work and then it's hyrule warriors all day long baby!

I ordered mine through Gamestop, but stupidly decided to have it shipped to my apartment. Gamestop sent me an order confirmation today and the tracking does not work. I look up the tracking number on UPS' site and it doesn't exist. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow.

Now that this thread is somewhat active again i'll post some thoughts about the game:
First off, a tip to make things easier (I've noticed a lot of people didn't notice this until they were quite far in the game, and I thought it was pretty important):
You can break into a dash by holding the dodge button after dodging. otherwise you'll start dashing after running for a while. being able to dash whenever you want is incredibly useful for getting around the stage quickly, and for dodging big attacks.

I'd also definitely recommend starting the game on Hard. normal is too easy.

another tip:

some thoughts about the game itself now that i've finished it (spoilers!)

Agitha and Ruto are absolute top-tier characters, but every single character is strong once you figure out their strengths (thought Darunia was pretty lame until I discovered one of his attacks which absolutely wrecks face against bosses and enemy captains). Likewise with Wind Waker Zelda, whose strength lies in countering attacks and exploiting weak points.

Also the music in this game is absolutely kick-ass. (definitely listen to Eclipse of the Sun until the 1.42 mark)

The weapon for the Master Quest DLC is Epona.

I totally forgot all about Epona as this game was all being revealed.

Speaking of Link's weapons, I've just unlocked his final one!
 Spoiler
God that artwork makes me laugh every time I see it.
The weapon also changes interestingly if you use the Dark Link costume. It looks pretty badass.

The only weapon I have left to unlock is Lana's Summoning Gate. But it's sooooo hard to unlock. getting Link's final weapon was hard enough.

I'm a bit dissapointed that the DLC weapon is yet another one for Link. he already has 4 unique weapons, and unless Epona is Darkness element (which I doubt) then he will be double dipping by having 2 weapons of the same element, which is stupid when other characters could get weapons too. Likewise it would suck if the other weapon was for Lana since she already has 3 weapons.

Who's fucking idea was it to put the Club Nintendo code BEHIND the damn inner casing where the disc is held?!
