What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  

Changes and Updates:

• The Boss Ranmaru Expedition will be available on Hard Mode.
  
• Using the battle Mage skill Body Boost will no longer cause the game to crash.
  
• Players with enough NX Prepaid will be able to purchase Yui’s Spirit from the Cash Shop.

BW at Mr. Lee is freaking ridiculous. 39 minutes for 30-120 with job advance quests. On 3x + 1.5 buff + gold mpe

Well, if the game comes back with that part unchanged, I'll take that as permission to level my BW there (So far all I did with it is story quests to 30). And maybe a couple more mules.

@above: why would they not tell us that they're changing Mr.Lee? It's not like people can do anything about it if they know a few minutes in advance that it's going away.

I was just going to play right now, I won't have time to play later today, oh well. pretty shitty to give no notice for the people that were playing though.

Ok am I the only one who believes the Island is 100% Lost copyrighted?

1) The plane crash
2) The Island
3) The mind with the portals
4) The Hogs & weird monsters.
5) I got 99 Questions & EXP ain't 1

I never even watched Lost and I felt a connection to the two events.

My youngest son said he thought it was like Madagascar (the first movie). He saw the parachute guy hanging from the tree and the horde of monkeys.

Sorry for the silence on this. We have been hard at work to figure out the best solution overall.

In order to resolve this issue, the following decisions have been made, and these changes will go into affect during the unscheduled maintenance today:

A time limit of 60 minutes has been added for completing the quest on the island.
The number of "Castaway Monsteroot" which spawn on the "Root Habitat" map has been reduced.
The EXP granted from all monsters on the island has been decreased slightly.


The quest on the island is repeatable once a day, as you all have noticed, and further completions of the quest will award a Drop Coupon.

Please Note: No bans will be made because of this, so please don't fret.

An hour is actually a very short time if you really want to do the quests. I think it took me longer yesterday, and I wasn't trying to "train". Took half an hour today and I only went to fix one vehicle and get the buff, and actively skipped any map that wasn't essential for that goal.

On the other hand, an hour is plenty, if someone goes just to grind. Weren't people talking about 30-100 in an hour, or something?

Well, guess we'll have to see just how "slightly" decreased the exp is.

The following bug fixes will happen during this maintenance:

• The game will no longer crash when using the Battle Mage skill "Body Boost".
  
• The Boss Ranmaru Expedition will be available on Hard Mode.
  
• Players will be to purchase "Yui's Spirit" from the Cash Shop, as appropriate.
  
• The game will no longer crash when attempting to Transpose stats to a Lv.160 Sweetwater equip.
  
• The Blaze Wizard skill "Dragon Blaze" will now have the correct cooldown.
  
• Changes to Mr. Lee Airline areas, see: http://maplestory.nexon.net/community/#%...26nxid%3D6
  
• Safety Charms from the SAO BOX will no longer crash the game.
  
• Resolved an exploit related the inventory slot coupons.
  
• Characters can no longer enter the SAO normal mode dungeon for free multiple times by using a party leader that hadn't completed the daily free run.
  
• Various text fixes.

The game will no longer crash when using the Transposition system.
The Blaze Wizard Hyper Skill 'Dragon Blaze' will have its intended cooldown time.
The game will no longer crash when obtaining a Safety Charm from an SAO Box.
Exploit fix: Four-slot inventory coupons can no longer be used without being consumed while your character is dead.
Exploit fix: Characters can no longer enter the SAO normal mode dungeon for free multiple times by using a party leader that hadn't completed the daily free run.
Exploit fix: Mr. Lee's Airline: The event monsters have had their EXP reduced.
The number of Castaway Monsteroots that spawn in a map has been reduced.
A 60 minute time limit has been added to the dungeon.
A fix has been applied for a crash in the SAO dungeon that some players have occasionally experienced.

I had assumed all the crazyness and nonsense going in this event was due to Nexon NA's inability to properly develop content.

Lol Mr Lee is not really an exploit they just never lowered the exp rates there & bothered to play the content before releasing to the public.
