Nintendo europe confirms same date demo release here, and they've started sending out some codes too.

No idea how they're deciding who gets them though, since we don't have an equivilant to platinum.

The download codes just give access to the demo a week early, EU/NA are getting the same demo in the eShop or whatever on the 19th.

Well, neither my room mate, nor any my other friends that got to platinum received codes. I wonder what the selection process was like.

I'd wait at least 24 hours before being sure you didn't get an email. I didn't get an email either, but I won't be sure until tomorrow or so.

E-mails are going out periodically. Just because you didn't get it yet doesn't mean you won't get it. If they said platinum users all get it, you'll get it eventually, just wait.

Anyway, I got it (Already given all my codes out though to real life friends). Demo has infinite uses vs a normal eshop one, so there's that.

and my god, this game vs cpus is still so easy, how pomegranate were the leakers?

In the Tweet, they only said select members, so I assumed I wouldn't get one if I hadn't already. If it's true that all will eventually get it, then sweet.
