I really like those familiars. I feel this is really great content. The hairs/medals/familiars/nx clothes should be more than enough to warrant the patch.

The medals are pretty great, if they have the same stats.

I wouldn't hold my breath for the top ranked one, but the kill each boss 5x is probably doable.

Nexon, have you ever paused to consider how many Americans know and likes SAO? This would actually benefit SAO more than Nexon. GG...

It still ends up benefiting Nexon/Maplestory if they draw any of the SAO fanboys and get them to pay any amount, even if they quit later.

They say you can't use your skills or equipment in the dungeon. So what controls clear time? Latency, fine motor skills, and RNG?

As for killing each boss 5 times, I'm going to assume that's plain impossible using the free entries alone.

All the bashing in this thread, lol. SAO did win out in that poll Girasol created way long ago.

At least the medals look nifty, though JMS-exclusive medals never seem to record into Collections...

Now with Maplestory getting the SAO treatment, I guess this just about confirms that Vindictus is getting the absolute pomegranate-tier crossover outfits too.

Big difference, but irrelevant. Again, if you don't like that your choice didn't win, then don't participate. It's as simple as that. The constant bashing is completely unneeded. No matter what everyone seems to think, this patch is not "making other content take longer" or anything of that sort. This pomegranate is planned months in advance.

One thing I liked about SAO was the bosses design, although it could be quite fun if it could be done with several players and trying to mimick SAO's type of bossing.

It will be fun content to me, at least for the first week.

that's their opinion, they're free to voice it as much as they want. if they came here telling you to shut up for liking it then that's a different issue.

personally i don't care the skin of the event, i care about the stupid top 15 medal however, which if it does come (and oh it will come) it will be just for the heaviest spenders, or god forbid, marvel machine.

15 days to kill all the bosses 5 times? Hmm... I don't know about this. Good stats tbh. The other 2 basic medals gives ACC and Avoid btw... sadly.

I didn't vote for this, in fact I didn't vote at all because it doesn't interest me (and I don't have FaceBook). I'm not bashing it because bashing something that I don't know because I don't know is plain stupid; I'm just going to do stuff that's more important to me e.g. work/life/slavery.

Latency is a big part, I would assume, but I don't think there's any random chance in completing the dungeon.

I kind of feel as if equipment is still a bit of a factor, but that just might be paranoia.

I would assume so as well, though, I believe the entry tokens are possible rewards for completion of the dungeon.

Just for clarifications sake - All Sword Art Online clothing purchased from the Cash Shop will be permanent. The clothes from the Cash Shop will amount for the greater number of clothing items from the event, however there will be other ways to earn both temporary and permanent versions of select clothing items without purchasing them through the Cash Shop.

I find this statement ironic because it's that same thought process that caused Nexon to lose almost 75% of it's global players in the last 3 years.

Tbh because they are filler patches. A long time ago we used to get large patches, none of these minor patches/event patches. The events came along with the larger patches. Over time events have become more like chores/less event-like because they're held so often, and the large patches people care for are known as "main" patches (like Big Bang, Legends, Chaos, etc), and these smaller ones are just fillers to give us something to do because everyone is so used to the frequent events/patches.

Personally, I don't care for this patch because I don't like anime, but I can see a lot of people enjoying this patch, because I hear about this anime pretty often.
