Oh I know, I actually posted that during the initial leaks. I just think it's pretty awesome that alts allow us to play as different characters now, since I believe this is the first case of that happening? (Peach could have Daisy's colour scheme in Brawl, but she was still just a recoloured Peach)

I mean this basically confirms 8 new playable characters: the 7 Koopalings and Alph, and I just think thats awesome. they don't get their own place on the roster (because it would be a waste) but they are still playable in some way.

Makes the roster feel even bigger than it already is!

A pity the light suit is just a reskin instead of the actual suit design. Also, villagers are still pineappleing creepy looking. That one on the left? What happened?!

It would have been nice if there were actually something other than recolors. It wouldn't really change her hitboxes any to have Power, Varia, Gravity, Light, Dark, Phazon and Fusion models instead of just their color schemes.

I still refuse to believe climbers are gone. There's no reason for them to be cut. They even have enemies as representatives in smash run. Not to mention according to the leaker they never got that padlock to disappear from all star mode.

It comes out in Japan in 10 days. And then we'll know EVERYTHING.

If the game gets leaked beforehand we might see leaks starting in like 7 days.

Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Direct tonight! very convenient that its happening just before Smash's release. Bayonetta being in Smash would put hype levels for both games through the roof.

Pic of the day. Here's one of the final battles in Smash Run, called "Run!" As you'd expect, it involves you dashing toward the finish line. In general, the fighters who are fast by default, equipped with speed-boosting equipment, and powered-up with speed boosts over the course of that Smash Run will have the advantage. However, speed isn't the only factor that will determine who will be victorious...

Those red things in the picture are called danger zones, and if you touch one, you'll get penalized by respawning farther back in the stage!! The danger zones disappear after someone else touches them, so fighters following those in the lead will have an advantage. You can still find speed boosts throughout the stage, so it'll be a heated battle 'till the end!!

Here's another final battle called "Climb!" Obviously, those that can jump or fly higher will have the advantage, but they also have to avoid the danger zones!! It gets pretty challenging if you've boosted your speed too much, as well. Everyone really gets into this when playing multiplayer.

Smash Run seems fun in small doses but I expect there will be a tad too much emphasis on it in regards to character unlocks since we have no story mode anymore.

Honestly, it seems like there's been so much emphasis on Smash Run for the 3DS. I'm starting to wonder if there's any exclusive mode for Wii U at this point, and if it'll be the pic of the day at least once every week

The 3DS version comes out a lot sooner than the Wii U version so it makes sense that they're promoting all of the 3DS stuff now. Once the 3DS game has been released I imagine we'll see Wii U exclusive stuff instead.

The demos up until now have been the E3 build. However, the demo available in stores will be equivalent to the retail version.

Demo's are for casuals, ONLY THE TRUE MASTER RACE KNOWS TO PURCHASE AND WAIT UNTIL SAID PURCHASE.

They always had multiple ways to unlock characters so I wouldn't worry too much.
