Man, the Halls of Agony guaranteed Goblin spawn already got hotfixed. I do understand it probably wasn't intended, but man it got fixed so fast. At least I got my Treasure Realm gem. I can still get plenty of money just doing Bounties and killing all the mobs. ~50-150k per group of mobs depending on how dense it is. Adds up quickly. Earned ~8m after about half an hour or so. Gemming/Enchanting at least should no longer be an issue money-wise.

Thcan't e pet damage gem is pretty great, can't wait to get it to 25.

Only got one piece to go for my zuni set, it'll make t1 cache farming even more of a faceroll.

Zombie handler and jungle fortitude have great synergy, i need to farm for a hellfire amulet and hope i roll something good

Got all pieces of Immortal King I still didn't have, then found all pieces of the Leapquake set. All in a days work.

Now I'm leaping around with my ancient buddies forever leaving behind fiery pools of death. Using a Maximus for better base damage.
Lots of fun.

Still don't know which of the new gems would be best for the quake build. So far I'm using the money gem. The poison one seems like it could work too.

I did some tests with Demon Hunter. It only applies once, but it does work with Companion and Sentries. Basically, it's a flat +400%/s + 10%/s/level. You'd have to be melee to get Blood Frenzy, but I can see that being a way to hit the highest breakpoint in high density for novelty. Definitely not practical, especially since you need such specific breakpoints to get anything useful out of APS for Marauder's.

I did some further testing and I'm not seeing it stack with Witch Doctor, and only Crusader's Bowmen activates it apparently. The IAS buff would work well with WDs since their pets scale directly with APS though.


In other news, I brought a freshly dropped Bombardier's Rucksack to 2m/roll without seeing Sentry Damage once (that was like 40 souls?), and now I have another spare one that I just spent 10 Souls on so far. We'll see how this goes, but MY SOULS. I barely managed to hit 1.75 APS by switching to a spare Buriza I had in stash that spawned with +6% instead of +5% (lower base damage by 100DPS), using one of these newer Rucksacks that have +19% ASI instead of +15%, but I lose 15% Sentry damage, which is probably not worthwhile. Using my Unity with my Enchantress, I'm there. Without her, I'd have to drop back to 1.46 and switch to a different weapon.

I also spent 30m just now making Imperial Topazes to reroll my Unity to have a socket. Thank god I'm not poor, but I've once again dropped below 3b =[

Hmm, Bane of the Trapped seems like it could work if I get it to Rank 25.

Just did a bit more testing.

Bane of the Trapped is multiplicative with Elemental Damage and additive with things like Cull the Weak (I don't know what else is though). Enforcer is additive.
Bane of the Trapped is stronger, but requires the chill effect of Polar Sentry to be active, or you to be Cold to begin with. Enforcer is stronger if you're unable to consistently cover the field with Polar, which shouldn't be a problem.

[MENTION=1087]Shidoshi[/MENTION], I would recommend trying to get a Rank 25 Taeguk to take advantage of how fast it should proc with constant channeled Whirlwind if you're still running that build. Perhaps Rank 25 Gogok of Swiftness would be useful for the CDR on Leap and Earthquake, but the IAS isn't particularly useful. Rank 25 poison seems like a good choice though; shame it's poison.

If I have bane of the trapped on Rank 25 the enemies will be CC'd by the slow effect anyway.
I'm using WW mostly for mobility and something to be doing while leap and EQ are on cooldown.

Just gotta see if 2000%/10s + 10% increased damage wins out against the 15% increase from Trapped. Poison has the advantage that I don't need to stay close to get the damage increase.

Just a quick question, which gems would be the best for a holy shotgun crusader? I'm assuming Bane of the Powerful is the first obvious choice but not really sure what other 2 I should go for. I'm considering the one that can do holy damage as a second at the moment.

Tried a Crusader out today. I regret not having done so before. Their skills are so very flashy.

On another note, I managed to get up to T3 on my Wizard. Having a lot of fun with Magic Missle + Black Hole (the fire runes).

Get 6 piece Firebirds so you can faceroll everything. Rolleyes

I think the game is trying to tell me something.
I literally got 3 pieces of Firebird all in a row, but I've been getting duplicates on gloves and pants lately.

I've still got to level my bane of the powerful, I'm gonna' roll the pet damage one, bane of the powerful, and simplicity's strength with a carnevil when one drops for me.

Lol, 10 stacks of Frenzy + Gogok of Swiftness is pretty intense. You could probably build something sucessful with this.
+25% dmg to all other sources with Maniac or near stun-lock with Smite are powerful.
Using Overpower / Ignore Pain / Berserk to benefit from the CDR you get at Rank 25 will be pretty nice.

The poison gem increases damage monsters take, so that seems like a good candidate. Can't think of others that could be that great, not to mention the hassle of shifting gems between characters which gets much worse.

I believe they patched it so gems don't activate on followers after the Mirinae and Wrath of Lightning shenanigans with Kormac, but it may have been just those two?

[MENTION=10491]Soph[/MENTION] Fires of Heaven has a very high proc rate, so it would work very well with the smite gem. Consider Gogok of Swiftness for the CDR at rank 25. The Rank 25 Poison or Slow seems to be a good choice for anyone who doesn't benefit much from other gems as well.
