I do hope it is true about Dark Pit i like unique move sets rather than slightly tweaked ones.

The dark pit thing is the big giveaway that it isn't true in my opinion, otherwise he wouldn't have taken up residence in clone corner.

Dark Pit is most definitely a clone. I doubt he's anything but. Also, I severely doubt about Solo Popo and Marshal. Way too retarded picks.

I wrote him of as a clone from the get go, if they can't give someone like Ganondorf his own move set I didn't have any hope for Dark Pit. But like I said I hope it is true and it would justify his spot. I know they are separate characters but if he is a clone I don't see why he couldn't just be an alt costume like Dark Link. I don't see it the same as Marth and Lucina situation.

Uh, but it'll be exactly the same as the lucina and marth situation. He'll be pit with some minor changes (like lucina is marth but with different damage levels depending on which part of her sword hits). What those changes are, we don't know yet, since he hasn't been revealed officially yet.

That's not what I meant. I'm talking about the reasons he gave for making her a separate character as appose to an alternate costume for Marth. I don't see why Dark Pit couldn't have just been a pallet swap for Pit if he has the same moves.

Uprising has 9 different types of weapons. Smash4 Pit uses bow, orbiters, and arms. They can just have Dark Pit chooses from the remaining 6. His base weapon will mostly be the staff that has his name on it, the Dark Pit Staff.

IMO I loved skyward sword but the only character I would want to see is ghirahim and that's only because of his badass ness....I don't think skyward sword is going to get a rep since Ganon is already but confirmed from the leak. But hell who knows.

That...is not even remotely close to a good justification for demanding an entire character in the roster. There are already what, 5 zelda reps? That's good enough.

# of reps per franchise means nothing anymore. Mario has 8. Zelda is pretty much their second biggest franchise in smash besides mario and smash itself. They have the data for all the zelda characters and they're all popular already. AKA why the f'uck not add them?

For why skyward sword...it's the most recent storyline zelda game...that's the only justification that matters. Characters are basically always given updated looks based on their most recent game. Ffs samus got a redesign based on other M. Ganon would have had a skyward sword design if he were a big part of that game's story too (disclaimer: haven't finished skyward sword, but point is he doesn't have a new design to use). Fox and falco's designs are like never based on their games afaik so their designs are never fully revamped. CarrionCrow's argument is true, but it also doesn't have anything to do with the motivation for those designs being chosen over other games.

I suppose. When it boils down to it I don't REALLY care which series has more reps or how many they have. All that matters to me is that each character in the roster is UNIQUE and makes sense. Which is what has been happening so far, so that's fine by me.

Think we missed yesterday.

A panel in the Challenges area will unlock everytime you clear a challenge. When you unlock a panel, you'll see hints for unlocking panels directly adjacent to it on all sides. And this time, each panel will unlock pictures related to the challenge. This is tougher than it looks, you know? The challenges in the 3DS version are a little on the easy side, but the Wii U version challenges might be a bit trickier.

Customize your characters in the Custom section. It sounded better to customize 'characters' instead of 'fighters,' so that's what we went with. There are various ways to customize, but make sure you remember to set up the powers you're bringing with you before playing a round of Smash Run.
