Wouldn't that just mean they get it immediately when it comes out instead of having to keep up with the news and buy it when it comes out?

I doubt pre-orders would get extra goodies and DLC obviously doesn't "sell out"...

That is indeed pretty mind blowing. I am not sure i am a fan of including other franchises but i guess Nintendo only does one racing game per console these days so it may make sense. Certainly will encourage a lot of people to stump up the extra cash. Stick Link in anything and people go nuts.

Either Nintendo UK just goofed and released that offer too early, or only a certain number of people could 'preorder the DLC'. But how would that even work, anyway? The only thing I can think of is download by code, but even then, why would there be any need to preorder?

It's $8/each or $12 for both. They take up 1 GB space each (yikes).

Awesome! Now to just wait for the update tomorrow. That 1 gb of data is kinda frightening though :/

Probably won't pick up the DLC until I get Hyrule Warriors. Pretty stoked otherwise. Will give me an excuse to play the game again.

just paid for my dlc(and the free mercedes benz dlc). totally forgot i had 5$ eshop credit from the DDP from the freegame gotten from MK8. basically like 7$ for both DLC which is a really good price
