If anyone wants to race I'm pretty much always up for it, my nintendo network ID is glowcat185.

The new update looks great, especially the Map on screen feature. I would have cared for the records screen if I didn't already get the Golden Glider. Now it'll just serve as a record of how terrible I am at online racing :'( I swear I think I've lost more than I've won but still managed to get to a decent VR.
The Mercedes karts look rather... decent? I don't think many wheels would look good with them though, so that's a bummer.

If this is indeed legitimate, then I hope that, if they intend to implement DLC, I wonder what that would mean for online. Would they be selectable? Would people who haven't purchased the DLC be able to race on it if a friend that has it did?

It would be easy enough for it to not show up when someone who doesn't have the DLC trakc sis playing, but I would like to think Nintendo would be nice and let everyone play it if it happens to come up.

I don't care because I'll buy any/all track DLC they release, but yeah.

My first thought would be that the course would be completely unavailable to anyone who hasn't purchased them.

While I don't like this (I would prefer what [MENTION=69]Lozmaster[/MENTION]; suggested in being able to participate without having bought the dlc), I think that it is more likely to happen than other possibilities. I would like to be proven wrong by Nintendo on this one though.

I was talking more along the lines of private rooms. I know Nintendo could simply choose not to put dlc course in the selection pool when doing randoms.

I hope it gets released in the US too. And that it works online. I heard the Mercedes one doesn't work online.

My mind is BLOWN. I'll be buying nintendo points en masse.

Only thing i'm disappointed about is Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach. seriously? more clones? as if Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach weren't already god awful clones of said characters.

Also I wish both were being released at the same time so I could get all that glorious content at once :3
That 6 month wait between releases is going to kill me.
