Eh, I'm not surprised by a completely out of left field character like duck hunt dog being chosen. G&W and ROB were both pretty odd choices at the time.

Of course, I'd rather have had a bigger name character chosen, but the decisions aren't up to me.

Despite what I said about Bowser Jr, I actually like this.

Assuming Bowser Jr. is real, he better have access to some Mario Doppelganger abilities Sunshine style. However, taking into account the Koopalings as alt costumes, it's quite a long shot.

If some the Alt costumes are going to be complete character changes, then maybe, just MAYBE, we could have a playable "Shadow".

Are you saying an entire game mode isn't a core feature?

Besides, the point is All star mode is unlocked when you unlock all characters in both melee and brawl. Hence it being locked implies there is possiby some other character still locked.

There are also a ton of images of modes and trophies and stuff. Unfortunately I can't post the link because the leaker is an absolute pervert and moved the camera on all the images of the female character trophies to get upskirt shirts and stuff. (seriously, the hell?)

Well according to the leak there are 5 DLC characters, so I guess that works out.

Just to clarify are we talking alternative costumes or full fledge characters?

Oooooh if Ness is in and there are 7 alternate costumes, that may mean a Ninten alt costume from MOTHER 1! There's also the Devil Car from the same game as both an enemy and a trophy.

There's also speculation of the pink-ish stage seen on the side being Magicant (also from MOTHER 1, but EarthBound is possible with the color changes). But I won't hold my breath.

Still, this is exciting. I'm curious about everyone else's alt costumes.

Oh dear god, maybe Pikachu's alternate costumes are Cosplay Pikachu outfits?

Can't believe Dr. Mario is back and not an alt costume. Dark Pit kind of makes me go what too. Probably too much to hope for proper unique move sets.

I don't mind Bowser Jr. especially if the alt costumes are true. But it is like people have said a rep from another franchise would be nice (Golden fucking Sun!)

As for Duck hunt just because it's obscure doesn't necessarily make it bad. I like the more obscure choices getting some attention.
