I'd say so, considering 2x drop cards are $1.50 for 4 hours and the familiars last forever. Of course that isn't how this works though

I did pretty well. Got a 7 day merchant, 100 gach tickets (landed on a 50, doubled up and got it again), 5 star enhance (this worked on my tyrant cloak yay!) and evan hair (M) coupon. This was within 2 spins. Decided not to risk it further though.

So I want to get Evan hair, and thankfully haven't spent any real money on REG coupons yet (those surveys are tricky but can occasionally work), and haven't been successful. Anyway, my birthday is coming up in a week, meaning I'm about to get some cash to spare, and I'm wondering what you guys thought would be a better way of spending NX - on the pricier side, these spins, with a slim chance of getting the hair, but the consolation being items possibly valuable enough to sell for lots of meso, ooor spend a bit less NX (depending on luck of course) and just going for REG coupons. Thoughts?

Got a 2 Hour 2x EXP coupon, A Tyrant Altair Belt and a St. Patricks Day Surprise Style Box.

I'm actually quite happy with that.

EDIT: Felt like being risky, doubled it up and got another St. Patricks day box.
Then did another spin. Got a 4 hour exp booster, a Pimp Chair and a Scarlet weapon.

I got pretty lucky today!

EDIT EDIT: With the leftover NX I bought a Premium surprise style box, and got the Bloody Jeanne overall which I've wanted for ages.

Now... if only they made it give Sweetwater equipment...

I note that the Black Tinkerer's set is amongst the most rewarding sets, but it clashes with Meister and Superior Gollux sets, and the belt could be replaced with Tyrant belt too.

The Marvel Machine is back!

The Marvel Ambassadors searched far and wide for the most intriguing, attractive, and powerful items in existence, and now they’re passing these relics on to you. Check out our returning favorites, like the Lv. 150 Cursed Kaiserium, Premium Surprise Style Box, and Lv. 145 Scarlet equipment (which can count toward bonuses of other sets). There are also new items like the Titanium Heart, Dragon Khanjar, and Cubic Blades (normal and Chaos)! Check out equipment like the Lv.150 Japanese Myth weapons, Lv. 150 Tyrant equipment (including gloves), and Lv. 160 Terminus weapons!

Items like the Lv. 150 Tyrant Gloves and the Titanium Heart have been added because they were requested from players during previous runs of Marvel Machine!

1. Purchase a Marvel Machine Spin.

Marvel Machine Spins can be purchased with NX Prepaid. If you have a Lv. 30 or higher character, you can also purchase them with NX Credit.

2. Click “Spin” and hold your breath!

The machine will spin and spin and spin until it lands on three random prizes. You get to keep all three!

3. Optional: Purchase a Double for 1,000 NX.

Like what you get? You can purchase a Double Marvel to get one more of the items you just won. The Marvel Machine will decide which item you get, however!

4. Check your prize codes in the Coupon Vault!

There's a nifty Coupon Vault that allows you to see all the items you have won on the Marvel Machine, including the codes and expiration dates. If you lose your code, you can always come back to the Coupon Vault to find it again! You can also search or filter codes by item type using the handy search box!

5. Redeem your prize codes in the in-game Cash Shop.

And enjoy your new items!

Important Things to Remember:

• You must have a MapleStory character to play. Or else who would we give the prizes to?
  
• To purchase Spins or Double Marvel with NX Credit, you must have at least one Lv. 30 character. However, NX Prepaid has no such limitation!
  
• Prize codes expire after 2 years and can only be redeemed once. So take your time, but not TOO long, eh?
  
• Prize codes are bound to the account that purchased the Spin and cannot be shared with other accounts.
  
• Cash Shop item prizes can't be traded. Non-Cash item prizes may or may not be tradeable, depending on the item itself - check the item's description in-game to see!
  
• The expiration timer of non-permanent Cash items begin the moment the code is redeemed in the Cash Shop.
