Just found out 10 minutes ago and it feels like a total gut punch. He was a great and funny man and I'll miss him for his contributions to entertainment.

To me what's worse about this news is the whole thing that he had been suffering from depression and on top of that if he was depressed why was he left alone? That pisses me off a bit.

A ton of good comedians have committed suicide over the years, actually. I guess it's not as good of therapy as they claim it to be. That, or only manic depressives want to be comedians in the first place, which is also a possibility.

He wasn't just a celebrity, he was a total nerd as well. His favorite shows were stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, and Ghost in the Shell. Named his daughter after Zelda from the game.

Because it's possible to keep an eye on someone at all times, especially if they don't want to be around other people which is possible in this case.
