WELL YOU KNOW WHAT...

Boo. Sad

To be fair, I couldn't see it due to Tumblr being blocked at work, huehuehue.

CakesXD Wrote:Mega Salamence is just... odd-looking, to be honest. Not a fan of how its wings are connected at the end and whatever's on its belly now. Ability is nice, since it finally gives Salamence some decent Flying-type attacks (Return and Double-Edge come to mind), though I'm not sure it's worth losing Intimidate or Moxie.

Having intimidate before mega evo is like having 2 abilities in 1 pokemon. It would activate when you set out the mon, and then you change to another ability after mega evo.

Yup, Mawile does that trick

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This image furthers yesterdays and showcases more about Pokémon Contests. It shows the in-game images of the Contest Hall, details how Feebas's evolution is based on contests, and confirms that you can Mega Evolve during the contests, which boosts the Excite Meter & Appeal in the Contests, but can only be done when the Excite Meter is full.

Also, this is that final corner that goes with the other 3 megas, so it seems no other megas this issue.

Mega-Evolving during Contests? Awesome.

I was hoping that picture of Milotic would lead to some information about its Mega-Evolution, but no such luck.

I actually like Mega Altaria's design, but I suppose it's pretty much looking like a puffier cloud. But this typing change definitely improves it and became much more useful in a way that it can go up against another dragon head on. Its movepool is pretty large and versatile, and having access to dragon dance, cotton guard, roost, and other support moves can make it do well for setting up for stalling or sweep. Only thing it doesn't have is a priority attack... but oh well, sorry Garchomp :d...

Please don't screw up Mega Flygon please don't screw up Mega Flygon.

Huh, I just saw this post by someone on Pokebeach:
Quote:What bugs me is that Mega Altaria out of all things can be hit by Earthquake.

go home gamefreak, you're drunk.

I was okay with Charizard X, but if they do stuff like this, introducing an "airborne" mechanic is waaaaay overdue.
>Make Flying resist Ground
>make moves "ground-targeted" (which should include most Ground moves obviously, but not all either)
>have each pokemon be considered either airborne or not (a wing icon somewhere in the stat-window or similar)
And tada, suddenly all the dual type bugs are fixed (ie Dustox getting hit by Ground moves), Flygon can get Sandstream instead of a Levitate-excuse-of-ability (and maybe even Weezing getting a new toy?), and perhaps a Vanilluxe is then immune to Surf or some other non-Ground moves that fit the ground-targeted category etc etc...

only problem with this suggestion is that Levitate becomes useless. But it's not like they couldn't just change it's effect to something else, like keeping it airborne even in Gravity.
What do you guys think about an idea like that?
I've kinda had the same idea before (but not as fleshed out obviously) because it really doesn't make sense that some floating pokemon can't avoid ground moves and such.

I'd be really happy if something like that was added to the game.

Yes, this change would be lovely.

So it turns out that the "Cosplay Pikachu" is a specific Pikachu that can change into those costumes (rather than just something you can do with any Pikachu, like I had hoped).

Still seems neat though, you get it right after your first try at the Pokemon Contest, so that's pretty cool~
It's a shame though, I was really hoping that they decided to give all female Pikachus that heart on their tails, oh well.

Yes, so much yes.
Gone are the days of grunts taking turns fighting you one-on-one.

Also, trailer!

Now even the grunts can become a problem, especially if they all use stat lowering or status altering attacks. Its those little changes that get me more excited than a mega evo reveal.

I think Lisia and Wallace are related.
Quote:Contest Idol Lisia
Lisia is the number-one contest star in the Hoenn region, performing as a pair with her Pokémon partner, an Altaria named Ali. She can see the potential in you and your Pokémon. Although she is a contest prodigy, she also doesn't shy away from hard work and effort, which is where her true appeal lies.

Lisia is post-op Wallace.
