Boss Battles Thread

Decided to try Hellux for the first time, solo nonetheless. Why? It's 4AM and I thought it would be a good idea.

Jaw was barely different from Hard, but the Eyes gave me a fair bit of trouble. I'm just glad Soul Seeker can hit both the summoned monsters once they get close to the portal.

Jewel kept making my Soul Seeker orbs disappear, though I still doubt I would have made it even if they didn't disappear. Was pretty hectic and fun at the same time. Definitely going to try again with one or two more people.

First Pink Bean solo! Took me a few days to get the DR timing right, being able to attack for 10 seconds every 40 seconds is annoying =_= No good drops but hopefully I can get a pocket or belt soon

My best Vellum run thus far. No deaths at all, didn't even lose Door. Barely wasted any time at all either.

No more attempts to break my own record, my close to perfect run starting at 19:30!

[MENTION=8831]Onion Knight[/MENTION]; This was fun, other than dying a lottt.

[MENTION=4662]¬Rob[/MENTION]; knew we could do hell mode eventually if we tried enough.

Finally soloed Empress successfully after many weeks of pineapple ups.

I bet if we practice more or get some higher damage numbers we can win (we did REALLY GOOD the first half, then he split)

yeah that's supposed to happen :f6: it's like the main "challenge" of the boss lol

First Madman Ranmaru solo. Wind Walk is a godsend here, considering my HP.

This was actually easier than expected, duo'd with another NL and we did it twice, 2nd time got the chair

Didn't even have Greed Pendant on :f6:

First solo of Pink Bean. Crappy drops. Pink Bean is easy but the whole DR spamming is annoying me.

Once I level up I'll start soloing more to make some money off reinf pen/belt and coins for superior eq.

Went to Pink Bean and Normal Magnus with [MENTION=4662]¬Rob[/MENTION] and [MENTION=8831]Onion Knight[/MENTION]. I only died once during Normal Magnus, and both of them were quick to remind me that they died more than I did.

Did my character glitch on your screen? I was on the portal when we killed him, also the skill animation is going there, but I seem to be faaaaaaaaaar off.

I turned the animations off and the background settings to low so I could play with as little lag as possible. I've been having issues with staying connected to MS since mid-July.

With a bit more practice, I'm almost positive I can solo!
