Spent like, 10 hours today at work trying to figure out something that seems impossible but can't possibly be impossible. And then I came home like an hour ago, and finished up packing. Getting keys to the new place tomorrow evening, and moving on Friday.

Gah, there's still so much to do.

Had to reschedule my driving lesson to Saturday or I'd have missed my landlord today, but I got the keys for my house in September Biggrin My housemates and I sorted out most of the bills too, our priority now is buying a new TV because the one at the house is from about 10 years ago xD really excited for September now!

AND THE BEST NEWS OF ALL: Raphael (my pet turtle) has been permitted to move in with us, providing he stays in his tank and "does not misbehave". Big Grin

After a year of putting it off, finally got my driver's license, which means I've finished everything I've needed to do before moving to Vancouver in September Biggrin

I had a fairly busy day, but good for the most part. I catalogued about 20 pages of camera equipment for a local rental house today. A day full of image cropping and template-formatting, essentially. And to give you a background, I'm an assistant cameraman working in a paid internship-- it turns out I do about 70% market coordinating work and about 30% of actual on-location shooting, which isn't what I expected. I got home just after eight and I have to then start working on my transfer portfolio and sketchbook submission for CalArts. Now I'm just laid back and having a snack, which is a relief from staying in a stuffy room with network drives everywhere.

Inspired by Plasmablaster and his post, I decided to try and make my own brownies.

Was originally going to use Smarties like he did before deciding pineapple it, and decided on Reese's Pieces. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any in the stores nearby, so I settled for Peanut M&M's.

Doesn't look anything special, but good god. It is so tasty.

Possibly Van Nuys, Burbank, or around there I would guess.

Went to the racetrack today -- first time while legally being able to bet -- and managed to pick the horse that ended in dead last for 4 of the races.

Should probably not have been betting on the horses with 40:1 odds Rolleyes...

Guardians was awesome! Can't wait to see it again.

I have also been suffering from what I believe to be acid reflux :| Every time I eat, I am having a hard time fully swallowing it and I have to drink water to keep from choking. I also have a lot of stomach acid in my throat and its killing me (maybe a bit of both figuratively and literally). I think I'll be visiting the doctors to try and get a better understanding of whats happening.
