How was your day?
Went shopping with my mom, I wanted a suit but finding a shirt my size is impossible. I'm too tall for kid's clothes but too damn slim for adult clothes. The only one we found that fit me perfectly was horrible, the fabric felt weird and looked bad. We're going to try a different place tomorrow and hopefully we'll find something or else we'll have to buy some fabric ourselves and pay a tailor to make the damn shirt. It's getting tiring to go to all these places for nothing. Regardless it has been fun to spend time with mom, it's a shame that her vacations don't last nearly as much as mine.

Also, my keyboard started fucking up earlier this week and I'm glad it's finally happening after who knows how many years with this crappy shi't. But just like my clothes, when I went to the store to buy a new one, the one I wanted was out of stock for a couple of days so I can't get it until Friday. I really hope I'm done with everything by Friday morning, I don't want to miss ti4 main event :/

Go to Khols. They always have dress shirts on clearance and in tons of different sizes. My issue was too bulky ad I was still able to find shirts there that fit decently.

Had an awesome day hanging out with my friends. We went on a hike earlier, then went to my friends work at Hard Rock and enjoyed his discount (more his company haha), then we went to a bowling alley thats right next door and bowled 1 game before he had to go to work. Then we went and hung out at my other friends house and watched a movie.

What clearly inferior country do you live in?

In all seriousness there's probably a company similar, or something someone maybe recommend that gets similar products as khols lol

God, I hate working with carbon black. There was one tiny hole in my glove and it gets all over my hand. Wearing a lab coat and it still manages to cover my arms up to my elbows. Sat there for a good 5-10 minutes scrubbing it all off. Then I go sneeze and I notice it's in my nose too. pineapple. Been working about an hour overtime a day to try and make up for the two weeks pay I lost when I got my appendix removed, but its going to take forever at this rate Tongue And I seriously need to figure out which college program/field I'm going into...

Fiancée finally got addicted to One Piece. Muwahahahahaha.

We were looking through One Piece things to spruce up the place among the everything else in our nerd haven.

Also got my pre-order for my Guardians of the Galaxy tickets. I'm so amped for that movie.

Honestly didnt like 1min1sec that much... Nice Body though, is my summer jam rn. Did you buy that signed copy off of the internet ?

OT: Im getting kinda pissed off at how homophobes and transphobes aka people with religion are adopting the "pro-family" title. Do I have to shove the definition of "family" into their f-cking faces.

Michaels, if you stick around, is a very good company to work for. Seeing as they just went public there's going to be a lot more pressure on them. I love working for Michaels, but I will tell you your store is VERY dependent on how your management team works and how your DM runs the district. Look into working in the frame department, you'll learn lots of really useful skills. If you get it, ask me all kinds of questions and I'll help you out! Big Grin

Today was hell, I was at work until 11 cleaning up pomegranate. Tired of being understaffed due to hour cuts and tight hour budgeting. I start my job at Urban Outfitters tomorrow and I'm very nervous.

I was actually emotionally upset when I found out I didnt have enough USB ports to charge my ipod and phone, use my mouse and external hdd at the same time... I think I might actually be emotionally dependant on technology.

Random question, is it normal to get called back a day after filling out the application?

Related news, I have a job interview with Michaels on Saturday!!

Well, in my own experience I got a call the next day. However, it's not always the case. That's great! Be yourself, come off customer oriented, be open to working weekends/nights/holidays. Again, push that you're into art know about art and that you're interested in framing cause I think you'd make a good candidate for framing or even mention being an painting instructor too.

I started my job at Urban today. It was not as hectic as I was expecting it to be, there's a lot I need to learn and it's all really about store layout. I probably won't work again there until nextweek so idk. The discount thooooooo <3

Got my (pretty sizeable) bursary. Canadian financial aid is so much better than American, though I suppose it helps that my parents have no income in Quebec... or like, in Canada in general. Unfortunately, I still owe the US $11k, which I wouldn't have if I had taken steps to establish myself here earlier, so that's really my bad.

Also signed the lease on an apartment, move in is next month, so I'll be much, much closer to school/work, and also away from my large, extended family, which I admit has both negatives as well as positives. The positives mostly being related to social things, related to not being out to anyone in my family (also being much closer to the gay village, as I am clearly the type that goes clubbing on the weekends). The negatives are, admittedly, just the added expenses.

I have two classes left in undergrad, and I have no idea what I'll do. Well, I know what I can do, and I know what I want to do, but what I want to do doesn't necessarily overlap with what I can do, but still, fingers crossed. I really love what I'm doing, and I hope I can continue.

Things have gotten so much better for me, and I'm so much happier, but... being the person I am, I can't help but feel that there's great disappointment looming ahead.

Today was just a intense house cleaning session in order to prepare for the Open House on Friday. It better be worth it in the end. Replacing windows, painting, moving unwanted appliances, etc...
And to the guy at the junkyard whom just yelled out of nowhere just because we didn't knew what to do, you belong where you are, a dump.

Oh, and (not sure if I said this on SP) but I was hired as Chevy's a couple of weeks ago but the majority of my Host co-workers have b'itchy attitudes and I hate them.
