Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion

I'm sure most of you Smash fanboys have a Wii, so for gods sake pic up Xenoblade Chronicles.

IF you can get a copy of the game without having to shell out nearly $100 for a copy. Luckily my sister's boyfriend had the game and ended up not caring for it, so he let her bring it back home for me.

Dear Lord. If Rayman is the reveal it's going to be a MUST HAVE for me.

Rayman on the PC (Actually Ryman Designer haha) was the first game I got as a child that gave me that "This is so amazing" feeling few things can give. That soundtrack is still among my favourites, and Rayman's style would easily be unique with detachable limbs. The classic punch throw that could hit when coming back... The haircopter... That scary face as a taunt...

But facing the facts, I doubt that's an ingame model at all. Looks like he'd just be a trophy this time. But I want to be so wrong...

If there was even THE SLIMEST of chances rayman would be considered, one thing going for him would be exactly what sakurai said in the daily pic quote: ubisoft is obviously extremely willing to help with his development if needed and i'm sure they too would trade limbs for his inclusion.

We all know it's too late for rayman though. I would probably easily trade all of the remaining newcomers for rayman, but it sadly just isn't going to happen.

If its Rayman can one of his moves make it rain lums with the chance of teensys and globox like the different peach turnip things.

Literally none of the characters in any smash game play like any of the games they represent and merely have moves or play-style based off those games or the characters personality.

I was certainly surprised after playing EarthBound to learn that PK Flash is literally Ness's only canon PSI move in his moveset.

Link's probably the most accurate character in terms of playstyle and his games, as far as I know.

Lucina, Robin, Female Robin, and Chrom confirmed. Eat pomegranate every other franchise.

Also Captain Falcon but who cares.

I'd say at this point Gematsu is far from what's going to really happen.

It looked like he was part of Robin's Final Smash, but that's more than a pomegranatety character like Rayman will ever get.

Three for the price of one. Neat trailer but i don’t know about 4 FE characters i guess the series is really popular now though. I do like the look of Robin.

Despite have not playing Awakening just yet it is pretty interesting that we get to see some kind of caster from the Fire Emblem series. We've been way too stuck on swords(though I would totes play Lucina) in the series when there's other weapon types we could've gone with.

Edit: This is also bringing the roster up to 36 compared to Brawl's 39 characters.

Lucina's attacks looked exactly the same as Marth's from what I could tell...

So a curious little detail on the main website....



For some reason, Lucina has the box of a veteran, while Robin has the box of a newcomer... but Lucina's page has the newcomer tag on it, so do you think it's possible she's just an alternate costume for marth? In the video her attacks quite literally identical to Marth's. Only differences I can see so far are potentially her idle animation and taunts are different.

Granted, it could just be for spacing purposes, but it still seems odd to me.
