I'm sorry for not wanting snotty answers in lieu of simply saying, "I don't know" and having someone sneer down their nose at me.

Not sure if it's worth adding more onto the topic of lag/disconnections there are particular channels that seem to lag and cause d/cs more frequently than others.

I usually just log in ch 11 Scania, but after patch release taking items out of storage and accessing CS had incredible lag and in the end I would always have my client crashing. Ch 12 on the other hand was perfectly fine for the hour I was playing before I went to sleep. and also not to mention but ch 4.. is dead.

I've noticed that people somewhat often leave their training maps when an elite boss is on the verge of spawning.
I don't get it.

I still haven't seen an Elite Boss yet, I end up switching maps too often when questing, I guess. Usually, I see at least 1 Elite Monster per map before I switch over to the next monster.

Anyways, Shade's pretty cool~ I'm loving not having any buffs so far lol (I'm in 3rd atm, I assume he'll finally have some sort of buffs in 4th?) The skill cancel thing is neat, it's basically telecasting, but with a melee class, AND he gets a teleport-like skill <3 Very fun =3
It's weird that he doesn't get a full booster though, just a +1 attack speed passive in 2nd instead of +2 attack speed that booster would've given. I don't feel super slow or anything though, except for my actual movement speed/jump xP I need to find more places to toss in +Speed.

Oh also, there's a new portal in El nath, near where Alcaster was (for some reason) moved. Trying to enter it on my Shade caused him to lock up sort of, not letting me use skills or portals until I relogged.
Just a warning for anyone else that notices it and is curious~

Depending on the boss, it can really wreck your day. Not to mention folk who just want to get their quest done without being interrupted by a boss fight.
But, yeah, I have seen this a lot today. I usually take the elite boss out by myself because the others all run. Then again, I am doing 8x more damage than most other Shades at my level so it's not awful.

Simple: If you fights against a Mage one, is a pure SNK Boss: Imposible to kill even with overleveled characters.... with the rest they are just annoying and hard, specially the warrior one, it can deal over 5k with a lvl 100 character O_O.

I guess that all makes sense. I thought they were tough but not overwhelmingly difficult (and I am not a very rich player).

I find the Pirate one to be the most dangerous; it seems he's able to activate DR for brief periods and I can't figure out what the animation for it is yet. Thank god Shade is nearly impossible to kill.

Even more the Pirate one is the 2nd more dangerous of all since he has crazy multi hit attacks, Mage beats him due his insane HP regen...... the bowman one is the EASIEST as far... if you manage to avoid that fast arrow.... the Warrior one is OK and the Thief one is pretty fast.

The job quests level you up pretty quickly. I didn't even have to do Riena Strait on this character.

Speaking of HT/CHT changes...

Did they ever fix that entry glitch for CHT?

They took away all my old training spots, so I have no idea what to do to train anymore .__.

There's a few level ranges where there aren't really any good places to grind. 40-45, 60-70 and 90-100 are all lacking in good spots. However, you can still get through those levels pretty easily by just doing the fetch quests around those level ranges - especially if you have a pet to loot etc drops for you.

40-45 - Gold beach gets you through it quite fast
60-70 - Skeledogs with a kanna gives you insane spawn and burns this level range quick
90-100 - Roids

The only change that has bummed me out is that EVO is now 105 to start. They changed the start level but didn't update the base HP of the mobs inside to match the outside world. So now you have to wait longer to use it and you start with mobs that are less lucrative than standard 105 mobs. (You have use cores to make it worthwhile.)

For 50 as well as 60 drakes were pretty decent, with a nice map structure.

And Taurospears + Kanna are great until lvl 75...

Being able to semi-spam your grappling monster skills on a Shade makes training easier that has multiple platforms too. It's sort of funny on how that works as they can really move monsters into a different platform. I also *accidentally* pulled a sand rabbit in Ariant off a map. I used a vertical grapple on one of them through uneven platforms and it fell off down below the main map, never to be seen again apparently...

I just grind on monsters that are 20 levels above my own at most, has a decent spawn and doing the story quests in between. But drake maps are always so crowded now. I always find full parties, usually with mules and kanna+hs training there... Unpopular and overlooked places is still a decent alternative. Ant tunnel, Boars, fireboars, and Edelstein mine - robots and big spiders.

Actually I found that Spiders are crowded too due the drop card... I was training my Beast Tamer and my Shade due their character cards....
